Bloodborne Fans Boot Up The Game To Celebrate Its Tenth Anniversary
Return to Yharnam is a yearly event held among the Bloodborne faithful. It challenges players to play through the game with a brand-new character, summoning as many cooperators and invaders along the way as possible. This year’s event has a special impetus, though, with it being Bloodborne’s tenth anniversary. Return to Yharnham runs from March 24 to April 7, 2025.
The Reddit thread announcing this year’s event has proven exceptionally popular, garnering over 1,600 upvotes and 55 comments within the first few hours.
Given that it is the tenth anniversary of Bloodborne, and there’s still been no announcement of any remake or remaster, the game’s subreddit is surprisingly pretty calm.
Notorious for getting excited at any sniff of a Bloodborne mention, much of the community is choosing to celebrate this milestone, rather than lament the lack of a rerelease.
In the official anniversary thread, Yorhanes said, “Happy birthday to all the hunters that still play the game and especially to that person who, years ago, when I still was struggling with the game, had the patience of a saint and carried me through some levels. If you’re reading this, thank you.” It’s a sentiment that was echoed by many.
Seriously, though. Remake when?
