We’re gonna be talking about this game for a decade and more.

From hidden flirty dialogues to rare weapon coatings, and even undiscovered ways of completing objectives, there are still things to find in every corner of Baldur’s Gate 3. It seems this time players have discovered a mythical beast that people have been looking for for a long time. However, it’s supposed to be in a lake in Scotland.

The Loch Ness Monster Has Been Spotted Again

The Loch Ness monster has fascinated believers for years. Based on one famous image and a couple of other stories, the mysterious sea monster is right up there with cryptid royalty like Bigfoot and the Moth Man. It appears as though ol’ Nessie has left the serene lake of Loch Ness due to all the publicity and found her way to the Underdark in Baldur’s Gate 3.

Spotted by Redditor Oweow_Wilson (wow!), somewhere in the distance of the Underdark, you’ll see a shadowy shape that looks an awful lot like the famous picture of the Loch Ness Monster. If you ask me whether the shape in the Underdark looks like the alleged photo of the monster, I’d say yes.

While many of the comments were surprised by the discovery, this version of the Loch Ness Monster had its share of deniers too. “Could that be the front of one of the boats you use to go to the dwarven section?” said one comment, while another shared images of a large skeleton, with one of the large ribs looking like the monster.

Much like the one in Scotland, this “monster” too has its own set of believers and deniers. However, for a game where telepathic octopus people are taking over the world, a sea monster doesn’t seem so far-fetched.
