Her Tire Spin special is a close-range spinning slash with a wide area of effect, capable of slashing multiple enemies in its path. Yanagi is an Electric Anomaly DPS unit that is perfect for players who want to skip the whole anomaly buildup step of combat. Her kit’s highlight is the Polarity Disorder nuke, integrated into her EX Special and Ultimate. This effect triggers an additional Disorder with a substantial base damage multiplier, all without consuming the existing Anomaly. This synergy allows teammates like Miyabi and Burnice to continue their rapid anomaly buildup, setting the stage for further Disordered devastation.
However, Yanagi’s power demands precision. You must always pay attention to her attack chains and animation timings to achieve optimal performance. While button mashing might suffice in simpler missions, mastering her stance-switching is crucial for excelling in challenging modes. Additionally, her Shinrabanshou state discourages excessive dodging, as it resets her attack sequence, potentially diminishing her damage output. Yanagi may take a supportive role in Section 6, but in combat, she becomes your team’s spearhead into the fray.

Miyabi
Introducing the unique Frost attribute to Zenless Zone Zero, Miyabi brings a storm of massive burst damage. She applies Frost buildup to inflict debuffs like Frostbite, Freeze, and Shatter, immobilizing enemies and setting them up for shattering blows. Her Icefire passive aids in combat ramp-up, but reaching her peak potential requires significant investment in anomaly buildup and, interestingly enough, crit rate too.
Miyabi is fortunately rather easy to play, allowing her to sit comfortably as Zenless Zone Zero’s strongest Anomaly agent. Executing perfect combos does demand a bit of extra attention, as missteps can lead to suboptimal damage. While her best team compositions may not be the most free-to-play friendly, relying on Miyabi or Burnice, those who master her mechanics will find Miyabi to be worthy of the title of Voidhunter.
