A new leak from Honkai: Star Rail is hinting at the addition of several new Light Cones and Relics to the game during one of its next updates. The HoYoverse sci-fi RPG gives players plenty of ways to improve their team of characters, both individually and through new equipment. Relics and Light Cones grant major stat increases accompanied by unique buffs catered towards a particular playstyle, while Traces offer enhancements to a character’s skills. Now, one of the game’s next updates look to be offering plenty of new options for fans.
Relics and Light Cones serve as some of Honkai: Star Rail‘s most sought-after resources, though the method of obtaining each is markedly different. Relics are typically granted for clearing the “Cavern of Corrosion” challenges, with each individual challenge featuring two different sets of Relics. Light Cones are most commonly awarded through the game’s gacha system or in-game events, with some also being available for purchasing Star Rail‘s Battle Pass. A recent leak is now giving players an idea of when they should expect new equipment within the RPG.

Honkai: Star Rail Leak Teases New Relics, Light Cones
A new leak from prominent HoYoverse leaker Sakura Haven is hinting at several new Relics and Light Cones coming to the game. The leak revealed that a new Relic set is expected to be added to the game during either the Version 3.3 or 3.4 update. A refresh to the selection of Light Cones available with the premium Battle Pass is also expected to arrive alongside the release of the Relic set, with a new Light Cone available for each Path. Star Rail will reportedly introduce a new Remembrance Light Cone to the “Light Cone Manifest” shop as well, with two sets to be available for each Path.
The plethora of new Relics and Light Cones coming to Honkai: Star Rail will likely look to provide unique benefits to the game’s newest characters. HoYoverse has yet to officially confirm the lineup of characters coming in Version 3.3, though leaks have hinted at Hyacine and Cipher as the update’s featured units. Star Rail‘s Version 3.4 update has seen even less information surface, though rumors have suggested that Phainon may finally make his playable debut during the update. Version 3.3 is currently expected to launch on May 23.
