Summary
- Fans want Capcom to add profile pictures to Hunter Highlights to give them a closer look at teammates.
- Profile pictures could add personality to the Hunter Highlights screen and make it easier to view teammates up close.
- Players have also requested that Capcom add layered weapons to Monster Hunter Wilds.
Fans of Monster Hunter Wilds have come together to request that Capcom add the ability to view the profile pictures of teammates on the Hunter Highlights page that appears at the end of every mission. Monster Hunter Wilds will be giving players their first look at Title Update 1 on March 25, which will add a new monster and other content to the popular action RPG.
Hunter Profiles in Monster Hunter Wilds allow players to show off their character and achievements to other gamers. Fans can see someone’s title, nameplate, equipment, monster stats, and more just by looking at their Hunter Profile. Players can also customize the look and pose of their character, allowing them to even show off armor they aren’t currently wearing. It works similar to how Guild Cards have functioned in previous franchise titles. Unfortunately, many gamers seem to feel that viewing the profile of another fan is somewhat cumbersome and wish there were more ways to show off their profiles.

In a recent post on Reddit, VictusFrey suggested that Capcom should add profile pictures to Hunter Highlights in Monster Hunter Wilds. At the end of a hunt, everyone in the party will be able to view a Hunter Highlights screen that shows off each gamer’s nameplate and what they did most during the fight. For instance, it may point out who broke the most wounds during the hunt in Monster Hunter Wilds, giving them a fun title and showing just how many wounds they managed to break. VictusFrey believes Capcom could add even more personality to this page by allowing players to show off the profile pictures they’ve already customized.
Monster Hunter Wilds Fans Want to See Profile Pictures Added to Hunter Highlights
Many fans agreed, stating that it can sometimes be difficult to view a teammate’s hunter in the middle of combat. Adding profile pictures to the Hunter Highlights page would give gamers a closer look at each member of the party. One person suggested that Capcom should also allow fans to click on the picture to view someone’s entire profile, adding a quick way to check in on teammates. As of writing, many fans seem to feel that there’s no real reason to view someone’s profile outside completing a particular achievement in Monster Hunter Wilds.
Some players have also been asking Capcom to add layered weapons to Monster Hunter Wilds, as they wish to be able to customize their weapons as much as their armor. This has been an especially popular request among gamers who don’t care for the title’s Artian weapons, which only have one appearance and are considered to be the strongest weapons in the game. Despite some criticism, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future of Monster Hunter Wilds.
