To truly thrive as a Ghoul, unlocking your Kagune is a critical step. However, the game doesn’t provide any guidance on how to do this. If you’re feeling stuck, we’ve prepared a detailed, step-by-step guide to help you quickly and easily acquire your Kagune.
How To Unlock A Kagune
To unlock a Kagune in Ghoul Re, you will first need to gather 5,000 RC points and then drop your health bar below 50 percent.
While lowering your health is straightforward, earning 5,000 RC is challenging and requires significant grinding. Unfortunately, there’s no shortcut to this, but we can help you make the process as efficient as possible.
The best way to earn points is by eating human NPCs. To find them quickly and easily, complete quests from the Mission Board. The Mission Board is conveniently located next to the entrance to Antique.
To quickly find it, press and hold the “P” key to highlight all the interactive locations and facilities around you.
After selecting a mission and locating a human target, your first goal is to beat your opponent and knock them to the ground. Once they’re downed, approach them and press the “Ctrl + B” keys to eat them. Each consumed human will reward you with approximately 200-400 RC points.
How To Check Your RC Points
To check your total RC points, you should visit the Hospital and interact with the NPC at the reception desk. This is the only way to track your RC progress.
Once you’ve hit the 5,000 RC mark, your final step is to drop your health below 50 percent (just receive some damage from enemies). As soon as this happens, your Kagune will unlock automatically, and you can activate or deactivate it anytime using the “Ctrl + E” key combination.
