However, ascending a unit is no easy task; it requires duplicate characters and rare resources, which can take considerable time to collect. Despite the grind, the benefits are substantial, as ascended units gain higher damage output, better survivability, and greater overall effectiveness in battle.
Units Ascension Guide
In Anime Vanguards, all units are classified by rarity. The higher the rarity, the lower the chances of acquiring that unit, but in exchange, their stats are significantly better. The rarest and most coveted units are the Mythic characters. You can ascend these through the Kokashi NPC in Anime Vanguards.
While ascending doesn’t grant your unit new abilities, it still provides valuable enhancements. By using this feature, you can further strengthen your powerful units. However, be ready to farm rare resources in order to ascend them.
How To Ascend Units
It’s important to note that Ascension is only available for Mythic units. Since these units have a low drop rate, obtaining one requires a substantial amount of Gems. You must be prepared to invest time and resources into summoning before they can even consider ascension.
Additionally, ascensions in Anime Vanguards have two key requirements:
- You must have a duplicate of the unit you wish to ascend.
- You must have the resources required for ascension.
Both of these conditions can be pretty challenging, especially for new players. However, with the right strategy, you can save time. Once you obtain the Mythic unit you want to ascend, head straight to the Kokashi NPC, which is located near the Summoning zone.
Interact with Kokashi and choose the unit you wish to upgrade. This will reveal the specific resources required for ascension. Keep in mind that each unit has unique upgrade requirements.
For example, Vogita Super and Vogita Super (Awakened) both require a duplicate Vogita Super unit along with a certain amount of his Food Item for each ascension. These materials can be obtained by completing specific stages.
Once you have gathered everything, return to Kokashi, select the unit again, and click the Ascend button to strengthen it. You can repeat this process multiple times for the same character.
