In this guide, players will find all they should know about this quest, and how to complete it, including how to reach West Janpath Plains, and how to defeat the Whimsical Duoguill.

How To Start Myles To Go In Xenoverse Chronicles X

To start the Normal Mission Myles To Go, players should go to the East Gate, in the Administrative District of NLA, and talk to Satie. She will task the Party with delivering supplies to a stranded member of BLADE whose Skell has been damaged in a fight against a specially tricky Indigen species.

Satie will handle the players a Repair kit, and a set of coordinates they need to follow to find Myles and deliver the supplies, so he can repair his Skell and go back to NLA safe and sound.

Struggling to find what to do at The Probe-Fessional Mission in Xenoblade Chronicles X. Here’s how to find all sites and how to change Mining Probes

Open your Map menu using (Y) then navigate to the coordinates which are a little bit east from NLA. Now, it’s time to find Myles who is located in the West Janpath Plains.

How To Find Myles In Xenoverse Chronicles X Definitive Edition

Follow the Mission Marker (Green Hexagon) on the map until reaching the West Janpath Plains, then direct the camera to a small plateau in the northeastern corner of that map section.

Players will find Myles next to his Skell on a plateau overlooking a lake, where several creatures are roaming. Players should talk to Myles and deliver the Repair Kit.

He will tell them that his Exoskeleton got damaged in a fight against a powerful creature, the Whimsical Duoguill, a squid-like monster that players can see floating near the shores of the lake if they direct their attention to the ledge where Myles is standing ground.

The Whimsical Duoguill will be the players’ next target, so buckle up and equip the best gear, and most importantly: make sure that the character has a ranged weapon and Ranged Arts equipped, and a Taunt ability just to make sure.

How To Defeat The Whimsical Duoguill

The Duoguill is a Level 9 Mini-Boss that can be a little bit tough to beat if players are around level 5. But, with some luck, players will be able to deal enough damage to slay the beast fast and avoid an infinite respawn loop.

The best strategy is to aim a Ranged Art followed by a Taunt Art to make sure the Duoguill gets in range of the remaining party members. Since the fish-like creature is roaming in the water, and players cannot fight while swimming, they need to attract it to the shore somehow.

Once they have caught the attention of the creature, it will be easy to take it down if players follow the party members’ Soul Voices. Elma and Lin have a lot of good skills that can create combos, so take advantage of these windows of opportunity to maximize damage.

Once players are done dealing with the pesky creature, they should go back and report to Myles to complete the mission, earning 5,000 Credits, 110 Exp, and the Makeshift Gauze Eyepatch Cosmetic Gear.
