Playing around the Pressure Points skill card as The Watcher can be tough, as the card’s synergies are limited. Having multiple copies of the card can help its effectiveness, though, as this can stack up the mark effect and deal high damage as a result. This seed will allow players to get 8 copies of the Pressure Points card in Act 1, through Neow the Whale.

Mark is a stacking debuff, but it’s slightly let down by the fact that the watcher has no other cards to apply it or trigger its damage. That means the best way to play around it is to stack the Pressure Points card, and focus on draw and energy generation otherwise.

Players will need to play around The Defect’s affinity for powers to get the most out of this seed. The advantage of The Defect with this seed is a Mummified Hand from the first elite encounter, a Bird-Faced Urn from the second, and a Bottled Tornado from the third. This is pretty much the perfect basis for a power-focused build.

The first two relics mean the player gets to heal and play a random card for free whenever they use a power, and Bottled Tornado lets players pick a power to start combat with. There are multiple further synergies later in the run, with Orange Pellets, Frozen Egg, and Biased Cognition all available. This makes the seed a big power ramp for the Defect.
