Armor skills make up the brunt of a character build in Monster Hunter Wilds, and now, instead of just the ones that come from decorations and armor pieces, players can make use of Group Skills too.
Group Skills provide various useful effects for players when active. They aren’t as impactful as some set bonuses like Black Eclipse in MH Wilds, but they’re valuable enough to warrant everyone’s attention. Here’s what you need to know about them.

How Do Group Skills Work in Monster Hunter Wilds?
Group Skills are very similar to the set bonuses found in specific armor sets. The main difference between the two is their activation requirements — to activate a Group Skill, all you need is to wear armor pieces that have the same Group Skill. This allows for more flexibility when it comes to picking what you wear on a hunt.
For example, the Lord’s Fury Group Skill requires three armor pieces with the same skill. You can activate it by wearing any piece from the Jin Dahaad, Rey Dau, Nu Udra, and Uth Duna sets. You don’t need to wear armor made from the same monster, but if you do, you’ll also be activating that specific monster’s Set Bonus.
Here’s a list of all Group Skills in the game so far:

All Group Skills require at least three armor pieces in order to work. Given how players only have five armor slots, only one Group Skill can be active at a time. They won’t interfere with Set Bonuses, though, so you’ll still end up having multiple effects active on your armor.
