There are many factors that can affect the outcome of a game, one of those being “styles”. In total, there are 21 styles that have different contributions to a player’s playing style. Each one is attributed to a Haikyuu character and has different proficiency in eight or nine categories. There are also five different categories.

The Tier List

A player in Roblox: Volleyball Legends stands waiting in the game lobby for friends.

This tier list is ranked based on how well-rounded each style is and how much of a chance it has to turn the tides of a game. They are also ranked based on how useful they are to the team as a whole.

  • S tierConsidered the best tier and has the styles that should be the most sought-after for versatility; anything S tier has the ability to turn the tides of a game and carry the team.
  • A tier – Styles that are ranked highly for versatility, but will need at least one supporting teammate for any lacking categories.
  • B tier – These are normal styles that won’t change the tides of a game without help from the rest of their team, but still has the potential to be a good supporting player.
  • C tier – This tier contains styles that won’t make you an outstanding teammate and should be switched away from.

Volleyball Legends gives each different style at least eight different categories to determine their ranks. There is one “secret” style that contains nine categories. The categories are block, bump, dive, jump, serve, set, speed, and spike for all styles. The secret style contains all of these plus a “tilt” category.

Style CommonalityA player in Roblox Volleyball Legends with the Tsuzichiwa style equipped stands in front of the "touch to play" area.

In Volleyball Legends, there are six common styles that are marked by the color green. These styles have a 62.5 percent roll rate, so they are the ones you will most likely see when rolling for a new style. The common styles are Hinoto, Saguwuru, Yamegushi, Tonoko, Haibo, and Kito.

There are four rare styles with a 35 percent roll rate. Rare styles are marked by the color blue. These styles are usually better to stick with if you are left with no other choice. The rare styles are Nichinoya, Tsuzichiwa, Ojiri and Iwaezeni.

The legendary styles have a 2 percent roll rate. There are seven in total, but not all are worth keeping. Legendary styles are marked by the color red. Legendary styles are Uchisima, Sagafura, Yabu, Kuzee, Yomomute, Kosumi, and Azamena.

There are three godly styles in Volleyball Legends. These styles only have a 0.49 percent roll rate and don’t fall below A tier. Godly styles are marked by the color gold or yellow. They are Kageyomo, Oigawa and Butoku.

There is only one secret style, and it has a 0.1 percent roll rate. This style is marked by the color dark blue and is Sanu’s style. This style is fully proficient in four categories, including the secret category. Sanu is the only secret style in the game so far.

Sanu (Secret)

Sanu’s style is fully proficient in four categories, including the secret category, making it the best style to have in the game. The only below-average category is serving, but this can be easily worked around.

The secret category is called “tilt” and can allow the player to tilt in different directions, catching the opposing team off guard. This opens up the opportunity for more scores and to take home the win.

S

Oigawa (Godly)

Oigawa excels in all areas except for spiking, but has a perfect jump and serve. Even though his spike isn’t going to guarantee points, his versatile style can be used to be an anchor for the team in all other areas.

S

Kageyomo (Godly)

Even though Kageyomo only has one fully proficient category, almost all other categories are close to being 100% except for bumping and spiking.

S

Uchishima (Legendary)

There is only one S tier legendary style, Uchishima. This style excels the most in jumping and spiking, which are both extremely useful for scoring points when paired with a good setter. He barely struggles in any categories, but is slightly weak in bumping and setting.

S

Hinoto (Common)

Hinoto was ranked S tier based on the fact that it is the most well-rounded style in the game. This style can be very useful depending on how attentive a player is, even with nothing outstanding. Hinoto has an equal 50% in all areas.

A

Sagafura (Legendary)

Sagafura is a style with extremely high movement speed. All other categories are above average except for spiking and serving, which fall below average.

A

Yabu (Legendary)

Yabu has amazing jump and speed but really lacks in serving. The rest of the proficiency categories make this style great for supporting players.

A

Kuzee (Legendary)

Kuzee is strong in many categories but has a very slow movement speed. Setting and diving are below average, but jumping is exceptional with this style.

A

Nichinoya (Rare)

Nichinoya was ranked in tier A because he could be the reason for a saved game. He is the weakest in his serves, but extremely proficient at bumping and diving. He also struggles with setting and spiking, but he is fast enough to be able to keep the ball in the air regardless of his weaknesses.

B Tier

B

Kosumi does well in everything except for serving and spiking.

B

Tsuzichiwa (Rare)

Tsuzichiwa’s bump and speed are quite low. Even though they’re countered by a perfect jump score, jumping isn’t always very useful when looking at his other proficiencies.

Saguwuru (Common)

Saguwuru has a lower proficiency in bumping and diving.
