Along the way, players can find upgrades to boost their stats, such as weapon damage, movement speed, and various other boons, as they prepare for the boss fights that cap off each section of its randomly-generated levels.
Similar to shooter Risk of Rain 2, Roboquest has several character classes for players to choose from, offering unique stats and abilities that can mesh with those of another player in co-op mode. It also features a base camp that players can upgrade, allowing them to unlock permanent buffs and other improvements that will aid them throughout their battles against the robots.
For the collectors out there, Roboquest is also getting a limited physical release in America from VideoGamesPlus and in Europe via Strictly Limited, which will also include a Deluxe Edition at an extra cost. In the meantime, there are plenty of other co-op games to check out, like the acclaimed platformer Split Fiction.
