Destiny 2: Weapons to Farm for in Episode Heresy

There are some weapons in Destiny 2’s Episode: Heresy that players should definitely farm for so that they have the best endgame weapons possible.

Just because the main story is over, doesn’t mean the fun stops here. As a live-service game, Destiny 2 offers an immense amount of fun to those who seek it, so why not bring on further challenges and indulge in some of Destiny 2’s best content currently available before further changes occur with Destiny 2: Frontiers?

Dungeons

10 Dungeons Provide a Fun Challenge for Teams of 3 or Solo Players

From The Shattered Throne to Sundered Doctrine, Dungeons in Destiny 2 have only gotten better with each release. These Raid-lite encounters provide players with endgame content that can be hard to master, but fair to learn, where 3 Guardians are tasked with heading into the unknown to stop the monsters from with, to which there are usually 3 phases with their own distinct loot.

Not only are the stories that they tell great, but the encounters themselves are always memorable and fun to replay. Whether it’s battling a wizard on the corpse of Oryx with Ghosts of the Deep or climbing the highest spire to battle the Vex in Spire of the Watcher, an ensemble of 10 Dungeons will challenge players who seek titles, triumphs, and loot – whether that’s alone or with allies.

Tomb of Elders

Survive Encounters in the Prison of Elders

The Prison of Elders is an absolute blast from the past, a classic activity that many enjoyed in the first Destiny, but now returns with grueling challenges and a sinister amount of hostiles to it. Exclusive for Episode: Revenant, players can jump into the Tomb of Elders to fight replayable encounters with unique modifiers thanks to the Warden’s Judgement that determines the modifiers for each encounter.

It’s a battle against ads, bosses, and other dangerous enemies as players run through multiple rooms and complete bonus objectives to survive and harness the power of great loot that awaits their completion, all while players strive to create the perfect build for each fight ahead.

5

Onslaught

A Wave-Based Survival Mode for Testing Your Might

With the Vanguard Playlist, players can jump into Onslaught, which is Destiny 2’s wave-based survival mode where players must defend a point from enemies that grow stronger with each encounter, to build a score to further upgrade and enhance the defenses available on the point itself. It’s a lot of fun to fly through the rounds in Onslaught, especially on higher-tier difficulties to get to round 50.

Destiny 2: Best Titan Exotics for Episode Heresy

Destiny 2: Episode Heresy holds incredible potential for Titans, and here are some of the best Exotic Armors that they can wear to maximize their fun.

Onslaught is fun for fulfilling weapon Catalysts, grabbing exclusive Onslaught-related loot that can add further notches to build crafting, and simply for engaging in exciting times in the game. This is an ad-heavy PvE activity where players are tasked with survival and protection to truly test them and the builds that they make against the darkness.

4

Court of Blades

A Boss Rush Against Some Powerful Hive and Taken Entities

The Court of Blades is exclusive to Episode: Heresy, where players can jump into the Dreadnaught to fight some unforgiving bosses. Court of Blades is a lot like a boss rush mode where each encounter sees players save up tokens acquired from defeating said bosses so that they can enhance themselves for the next encounter and test out powerful builds capable of eradicating ads and bosses alike, as quickly as possible.

Trying to beat as many bosses as possible within the confines of a time limit can be tricky, but it certainly is fun, especially when it’s impossible to know what the next boss fight will be until it’s already too late. It’s not an overly deep activity, but it is extremely fun, especially when the Episode Heresy weapons are great to farm for.

3

Trials of Osiris

Reach the Lighthouse to Triumph Over PvP Players

The Lighthouse was an elusive and terrifying goal of PvE players for the longest time, as every weekend players could visit Saint-14 in the Tower’s Hanger section for a Trials of Osiris Passage that would allow them to engage in 3v3 battles against other Guardians, showcasing a mastery of multiplayer combat with builds and weapons specifically created to battle Guardians instead of bosses and ad-heavy areas.

Destiny 2: Best Exotic Weapons for Episode Heresy

Players will want to look at these Exotic weapons in Destiny 2 so that they can conquer the entirety of Episode Heresy and control the meta.

Trials could be a stressful and extremely competitive experience, as in seasons prior, the Lighthouse was only something players could visit if they went flawless – meaning 7 wins in a row or more. Now, players can just keep playing Trials of Osiris, win or lose, until they have a total of 7 wins, regardless of whether that’s in a row.

2

Grandmaster Nightfalls

Showcase Strong Knowledge of Buildcrafting and Meta with Endgame Content

Grandmaster Nightfalls are often on a weekly rotation in the Vanguard Playlist, where players will be thrown into a specific Strike with intense modifiers to challenge them at every turn. With a buff to enemies, the inclusion of Champions, and the fact that a team-wipe sends players back to orbit, Grandmaster Nightfalls are no joke, but they certainly are a lot of fun.

Failing a Grandmaster Nightfall can be stressful, but it’s an opportunity to learn about what went wrong and further hone in on a build, whether that’s for Titans, Warlocks, or Hunters. Every player is capable of saving the day in a Grandmaster Nightfall, and bringing along the perfect build for each week is essential and so much fun to craft around the enemy types and modifiers.

1

Raids

9 Raids Act as the Ultimate Mastery of the Game

It’s only possible to truly become a legend in Destiny 2 with a Raid Report, showcasing a player’s bravery and talent for the most difficult and enduring PvE content. Since the story is in its epilogue stages, why not reflect on the past and reminisce on some of Destiny 2’s greatest content in the form of Raids – which usually feature around 4-5 encounters where everyone has a role to play.

Sure, assembling a team of a total of 6 Guardians can be a tad tricky, but with the right LFG channels, players might find new online friends and competent teams so that they can add a notch of mastery to their belt by taking out Oryx in King’s Fall, Rhulk in Vow of the Disciple, and further bosses that feature Raids with intricate mechanics – perhaps for a legendary title that few Guardians have?
