Khazan's Maluca Boss As Part Of Our Exclusive Fatal Encounters Reveals

We have just a couple of days left of TheGamer x The First Berserker: Khazan‘s Boss Week. Over the course of this week, we’re exclusively revealing eight different bosses from the upcoming hardcore action RPG.

So far, we’ve revealed Blade Phantom, the “warden of the Underworld”, Volbaino, a giant elk-like creature wielding a hammer and chisel, Shactuka, “an untameable beast with razor-sharp claws”, “a former wizard’s apprentice” Trokka and, “the chaos corrupted commander” Skalpel.

A First Look At The First Berserker’s Chaotic Boss Maluca

As seen in the trailer, narrated by the wonderful Ben Starr, Maluca is a dual-wielding behemoth of a man, who appears to be cursed with a sort of corrupting influence.

His official description reads:

A former soldier of the empire, Maluca deserted his post after becoming disillusioned with the corruption he witnessed in the imperial army during the time of the Hismar Conquest. Thanks to his good reputation, he was able to pull together his followers and form the Knivesveil in an effort to take a stand against the tyranny of the nobles.

Maluca’s betrayal of the empire brings him into direct conflict with Khazan, who was a feared general of the empire prior to his death. Although Maluca’s goals seem righteous, the soldier’s visible corruption tells a different story.

The boss fight itself seems to be a good ‘ol-fashioned melee face-off, with two distinct stages. We see an uncorrupted Maluca face off against Khazan, before the former sprouts horns and shouts “this is chaos.” The corrupted version of Maluca is more aggressive, getting up close and personal with Khazan and attacking faster.

With just two more bosses to go, we’ve almost reached the end of our exclusive week of The First Berserker reveals. The First Berserker: Khazan releases on March 27 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
