As you progress through the different provinces of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, you’ll constantly find side quests that’ll open up another assassination circle on the objective menu just like the Shinbakufu. The Corrupt Daikan is one such quest, and it gives you a total of six targets.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows – All Kofun Locations
Kofuns are one of the most difficult side activities in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, but you can also get some of the best rewards from them.
You can get this quest quite early in the game, but you’ll properly get it from Kuma while doing the main story of Omi. Most of the targets for this are located inside Omi itself, but you’ll have to go all around some other provinces to get them as well.
Where To Find The Soiled Merchant
While entering Omi from the southern side, you’ll first find the correct location for the Soiled Merchant or Isshiki Mansaku. You’ll see the Mouth of Seta region as soon as you enter from the left side of the river at the bottom, and you can find the required settlement to the northwest of where this is written on the map.
In this settlement, you have to move to the southern part to get to the Otsu Lower District. Use your observer mode here to see the blue shiny dots at the merchant’s location. He lives in a group of houses covered by tall trees, but you can find an entrance when you go to the back.
To get to the entrance, you’ll have to walk into these tall trees on the southern side of the estate.
At some point, you’ll see a bigger roof that you can climb on and then assassinate the soldier below. You’ll then see the Corrupt Daikan on your left.
Where To Find The Hedonist
For the second Daikan called The Hedonist a.k.a. Okudaira Toshizo, you have to head over to the Ado River Valley on the western side of Omi, right below where you see a river cutting to the left. To the east of where this is written on the map, you’ll find the Omizo city near the shore.
From the Kakurega in this city, move in the northeast direction until you reach hostile enemies in a group of houses. Here, you’ll see a small entrance below a house on the eastern side. Go through this dark entrance and it’ll lead you directly to the Daikan, and you can assassinate him from behind.
Where To Find The Hoarder
Izumi Bunzo, or The Hoarder, can be found on the island surrounded by water to the north of where Lake Biwa is written on the map. You can also find a fast travel point on this island, though it’s recommended to follow the main story of The Mourner assassination to get this one.
As you’re doing this story, you’ll automatically be taken to this island towards the end. The entrance can be found on the northern side through a small cave in the wall, and you’ll find the Daikan at the very top right outside where you’ll find The Mourner.
Where To Find The Concubine
The Concubine, also known as Ise Asuka, can be found in the big Kyoto settlement in the middle of the Yamashiro region. You can start by teleporting to the Southern Kyoto Kakurega and making your way up in the northeast direction until you cross a small river going through the village.
Once past the river, using your observer mode will show you the exact location of the target, and he’ll be sitting in the open listening to some music. You can easily go from behind and assassinate him, and then run away from the scene if you don’t want to fight the guarding samurai.
Where To Find The Sword Hunter
The Sword Hunter is yet another Corrupt Daikan that you can find in the Omi region, and he can be found on the eastern side of Lake Biwa. To get to this village, move along the coast to the south from Nagahama city or north from the Suzuka Foothills viewpoint.
You’ll find this small village in the middle with some farm fields and a couple of buildings. You can find Gamo Morinari’s camp in the northern group of buildings in this area. There are a ton of soldiers here and the Daikan also has three bars of HP. You can stealth your way through and easily assassinate him with a Kunai after some upgrades.
Where To Find The Connoisseur
The Connoisseur is the last part of The Corrupt Daikan in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Also known as Endo Riku, he won’t be found easily and you’ll have to make quite a journey for him. He can be found on the northern edge of the map inside Kanegasaki Castle of the Wakasa region.
You can easily avoid battle here by stealthing your way to the fast travel point in this castle, where you can find the Daikan right below. Go to the building close to him and you can assassinate him with a Kunai as long as you have the buffs to remove three HP bars.
Every Corrupt Daikan killed will give you 2,000 EXP and two Mastery Points apart from a purple-tier gear.
Once all the Daikan are eliminated, you can head back to Kuma in Omi to get your final rewards including a Gold, 5,000 EXP, and Minogame’s Protection amulet from Lady Nene.
