While there are a lot of things that you can get stuck at while playing Assassin’s Creed Shadows, most of these can be resolved by turning on the Guided Exploration mode as this tells you exactly where you have to go for a certain quest. However, there are a few things that you can’t solve with this.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows – The Iron Hand Guild Assassination Guide
The Iron Hand Guild is one of the side quests in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, and here’s how you can easily beat it.
One of the perfect examples of this are various Kofun that you can find in the game. These Kofun feature a unique set of puzzles for each one, and Takagi Kofun is one of them. This one is centered more on combat, but you can still get lost in it quite easily.
How To Find And Enter Takagi Kofun
When you first get into the open world of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, you spawn in the Izumi Settsu province. This region is divided into the northern and southern portions by a river, and you can find the Harima province to the west of the northern part. To find Takagi Kofun, enter Harima through the road near the southern waters here.
Keep going on this road until you reach the northeast side of Kokogawa Estuary. From here, take the road going up north and you’ll find the Takagi Otsuka Fort on the way with the Kofun inside. To get to the Kofun, you’ll first have to defeat the bandits surrounding the area.
Enter the fort with Yasuke and, after you defeat all the enemies, pick up one of the explosive barrels near the Kofun entrance and throw it at the breakable wall blocking your way. You can then explode the barrel with an arrow and enter the Kofun.
How To Get The Legendary Chest In Takagi Kofun
After entering the Takagi Kofun, you can simply follow the path lit-up by various little lanterns until you reach the first set of bandits that you’ll have to defeat. This is the only Kofun where most of the lanterns are already lit up, making it much easier to progress at the start.
Here’s how you can get to the legendary chest after beating these bandits up:
-
-
In the same room as the bandits, you’ll see some bamboo covering the next path on the left wall. Hit the bamboo once with your basic attack and it’ll go away, letting you progress.
Move through this path and turn right to go down a few stairs, and then turn left to get a normal chest.
-
-
After getting the chest above, turn around and you’ll see a higher wall that you can jump on. Once you’re up, crawl through the gap at the bottom and you’ll find another bandit to defeat on the other side.
While going through this crawl space, you’ll see a path on your left where you can find a rare chest as well.
-
-
After defeating the bandit, follow the path on the right and then turn right again to see a few more. When you defeat them, you can find some more explosive barrels in the room to the left.
Pick up these barrels and take them to the place where you turned right to find this second group of bandits. You’ll see a breakable wall on the right here that you can use them on.
-
-
Go through this wall and you’ll find another crawl space on the other side. Past that, you enter an open room with another breakable wall high up in the front. To break this, first go through the entrance on your left.
Here, you’ll find a movable box on the right. Move this all the way to the main room and connect the two boxes near the platform with the wall.
-
-
You can then go back to the room that had the movable box and get the explosive barrel within. Throw this barrel on the connected movable boxes first and then on the breakable wall before exploding it.
Past that, go through another crawl space, defeat a few bandits, and then use another barrel in the room to explode the wall on your left. You’ll get the legendary chest past this wall.
After getting the chest, slide down on the other side of where you entered and you’ll find yourself in the first room where you broke the bamboo. From here, you can easily exit the location.
Takagi Kofun Rewards
In most other Kofun, you can find the first rare chest at the start. However, you’ll only find the first one in Takagi Kofun in the first crawl area, and you can get the Stalwart Kanabo of Malice purple-rarity weapon here. Other than that, you can also get some normal chests that can give you various random items.
Furthermore, the legendary chest in Takagi Kofun can give you Death’s Bloom legendary Teppo with a Quick Reload engraving. As the name suggests, the engraving massively reduces the time of your Teppo reload, making it a much better weapon to use.
