How to Level Up Cookies Fast in Cookie Run: Kingdom
The only way to level up your cookies in Cookie Run: Kingdom is by collecting Cookie EXP. You can earn these experience points in multiple ways, but all require some grinding. In case you don’t know, leveling up is different from upgrading or promoting your cookies, as it focuses on increasing their rank and power rather than boosting skills or overall stats (and that too only five times). Once you gather enough EXP, the Level Up option for the specific cookie will unlock in the Cookies menu.
Collect Star Jellies
One of the best ways to level up your cookies in Cookie Run: Kingdom is by using EXP Star Jelly. This item comes in various levels and grants instant experience points based on its rank when used. For instance, EXP Star Jelly Lv.5 gives 800 EXP, and EXP Star Jelly Lv.6 offers 1,600 EXP. You can use them directly in the Cookies’ Level Up section. Here are some ways to stock up on them in the game:
- Build more Cookie Houses in your kingdom.
- Complete Story quests from NPC Cookies.
- Open chests from the Tree of Wishes.

Win Storyline Stage Battles
Another way to rank up your cookies (and stack up EXP) is by playing on the World Exploration map and finishing episodes. Each time you win a stage battle, all cookies involved earn EXP based on their performance. These points go straight into your cookies’ experience bars, allowing them to fill up. This method, however, only gives a small number of knowledge points compared to the one mentioned earlier, but it’s still useful in the long run.
Go on a Balloon Expedition
Players can earn Cookie EXP by sending their characters on Balloon Expeditions via the Balloon Dock. This place is located on the right side of your kingdom, but it only unlocks once you hit Cookie Castle Lv. 2, so be sure to upgrade your base to take advantage of it.
Defeat Mobs in Train Station Forest
Lastly, you can gain experience points by clearing out enemies from the Train Station Forest. This area in your kingdom is occupied by mobs, and to place buildings there, you’ll need to defeat them and expand your territory. Cookies who complete this task will have their level bar increased by some points.
