Baldur’s Gate 3 Romance Mod Extends The Date With Karlach

Baldur’s Gate 3 has a bunch of romances, and everyone has their favourite. However, Karlach’s is beautiful and wonderful, and everyone should do it right now. Oh, you’ve already romanced her? Do it again, I don’t care.

If there is one critique to be made though, it’s that the date you can go on with her is over far too quickly. You don’t get to talk for long while you wait for your food, and after that, we skip to the steamy bits. But as great as that is, maybe I wanted to talk to my large wife a little longer. Finally, with this mod, you can do just that.

Baldur’s Gate 3 Modder Makes The Karlach Romance Scene Longer

The mod even adds new responses for the player based on their background

Karlach Romance – Better Hot Date by Nexus Mods user HyperspaceTowel makes it so you can ask Karlach all of the possible questions that come up in the dialogue tree during the date. Typically, you can only ask one while you wait for your food, but now, the waiter has been held up long enough for you to get through them all.

On top of that, you’ll find that you have new responses to Karlach based on the kind of character you’re playing. This includes more specific answers to her questions about you, based on your class. All of the Origin characters (Wyll, Lae’zel, etc) get unique responses to Karlach saying that she loves them as well. My personal favourite is Shadowheart’s: “I think it’s time you throw me over your shoulder and carry me away”.
