Blizzard Entertainment reveals when the next edition of BlizzCon will return, but fans will have to wait a while for more information.
However, Warcraft Rumble is about to add a brand-new type of cosmetic that will open new doors for customization. Mini skins are coming to the mobile game in Season 13, starting with Arthas, the new Alliance/Undead Split Leader coming to Warcraft Rumble soon. The Leader will have seven different options – six recolors of his default appearance, as well as another that transforms him into Prince Arthas – his living, pre-Lich King counterpart. Later, Tirion Fordring, Gryphon Rider, and Footmen will get “Master Skins,” giving the Minis a shiny, golden makeover.

It remains to be seen exactly how these skins will be unlocked, but at least some of the Arthas cosmetics will be available during his upcoming event, though it is possible others will be purchased in the cash shop. The golden Master Skins, on the other hand, will almost certainly be earned via some sort of in-game challenge or prestige.
Blizzard confirmed additional Minis, ostensibly including both Leaders and Troops, would be receiving skins in the future, with more planned to arrive soon. While players won’t know exactly how equipping or using these skins will work until the Arthas event starts somewhere in the next couple of weeks, fans will likely be able to choose different options for each of their new Army Loadouts in Warcraft Rumble, similar to how Towers and Kobolds can be customized between them.
In addition to the Arthas event and this new type of cosmetic, Warcraft Rumble announced that Sieges will be getting a Heroic mode, starting with Stormwind. Defeating the normal version will now open up a more challenging difficulty that will offer “even more epic rewards.” While it is a mystery as to what exactly the Heroic version of this co-op content will look like, players will find out soon, as the Stormwind Siege is currently scheduled to begin on Wednesday, March 26. With Season 13 now officially live, fans also likely won’t have to wait long to start collecting their first skins in Warcraft Rumble.
