One of the toughest and most complicated parkour challenges in Assassin’s Creed Shadows is the Path of Shadows. Taking place in a part of the map that you won’t have access to until late in the story, it tests your sense of direction as well as your traversal skills.

Where To Start Path of Shadows
The Path of Shadows is located in Nabari Hills in Iga, on the eastern side of the map. Head there and look for the path up into the hills for the start point.
Much like any Path challenge in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, you’ll need to be playing as Naoe before starting it.
Walkthrough
First, climb up the rock, going uphill, and keep climbing until you can grapple swing over the gap. Now, go left and along the branch, up the next rock in front of you.
Then, go left and climb up onto the rock, following the yellow paint along it to the left. Climb up through the grass on the ledge here.
Now, go up twice, but don’t go around to the right. Instead, grapple up to the ledge above you. Head right and over the two large trees, swinging over and up to the left once you’re on the other side.
Then, walk over the rope and jump down. This is where playing a Naoe instead of Yasuke makes the difference.
Finally, follow the path forward and up the hill, past some bushes to a camp. To the left of the camp by a rock will be the reward chest you’re looking for.
Rewards
The reward for completing Path of Shadows is Yu-no-shin’s Gear Epic Light Armor for Naoe. You can equip it right away if you want to.
