One Piece: Sommers’s Iba Iba no Mi, Explained

Sommers’s devil fruit ability has been revealed – the Iba Iba no mi. This devil fruit is going to be powerful.

In One Piece chapter 1143, Oda explains this ability. Basically, Killingham can put anyone to sleep with the power of his Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Kirin. Then, he can actually go inside the dreams of his targets and pull out things they dream of, making them real.

Why are we here, Shamrock? Are you here to pay a visit to King Harald’s grave? — Sommers

In the case of the children from One Piece Chapter 1142, they only had nightmares. In the case or Saint Sommers from One Chapter 1143, he dreamed of salt, and so Killingham went into his dream and pulled out salt. All that, and much more will be tackled in the Elbaf arc of One Piece, as the story pushes forward in the upcoming chapters.
