How To Complete The Kunimiyama Fort In Assassin's Creed Shadows

Forts and Castles are a major aspect of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, providing locations to test your Shinobi or Samurai styles in a carefully constructed dungeon. Whether you approach these problems with brute force as Yasuke or with stealthy assassinations as Noae, you have options for how you want to clear each area.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows Will Now Come To Steam Deck At Launch

Ubisoft has reversed its decision about a Steam Deck version at launch.

The Kunimiyama Fort is luckily one of the smallest and most straightforward areas in the game, laying out a series of three heavily guarded, gated areas, the final of which is home to your target and the appropriate rewards. Follow Noae’s road back home as you finish the Kunimiyama Fort in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

Where Is The Kunimiyama Fort?

You’ll find Kunimiyama Fort in Eastern Ichinomiya in Iga, Noae’s homeland.

This fort is located deep in the mountains and is about equidistant from two fast travel points: east of the Aekuni Kakurega and south of the Mibuno Kakurega.

How To Find & Assassinate The Samurai Daisho

The Kunimiyama Fort Samurai Daisho Location in Assassin's Creed Shadows.

This fort is essentially like a linear, multi-layered castle that follows a single path leading to a small tower. Head up into the first tower to enter, and clear out the first batch of guards (or sneak past them if you’re feeling risky).

The Samurai Daisho is patrolling the northern courtyard, up past the first closed door in the fort.

How To Stealth Kill The Samurai Daisho

To stealth kill the Samurai Daisho, you need to quietly enter the courtyard he’s patrolling past a second set of closed wooden doors. The best way to do this is by killing the guard patrolling the bridge into the Samurai’s courtyard.

From the building to the left of the bridge, jump down into some bushes and wait for the guard to walk by. Take out the guard by assassinating him in the bushes, then quietly cross the bridge, jump up the wall, and hide at the top.

Be sure to collect the resources directly next to these bushes before the bridge.

The best way to quietly assassinate this Daisho is by waiting at the top of the archway. Keep out of sight as the Samurai makes his rounds, then jump down and assassinate them when they cross your path.

If you time it just as the Daisho walks to the right by the bushes, nobody will see the kill.

In the house next to where you assassinated the Samurai, you’ll find two chests: one with Hemp Cloth, Silk, and Mon, and the other with a River Scene Wall Decoration.

From this secondary house, continue north to collect some minerals on your way toward the final tower.
