How To Complete Season 20 Glow Of The Ghoul Fast In Fallout 76

How To Complete Season 20 Glow Of The Ghoul Fast In Fallout 76

It’s a new season in Fallout 76. Glow Of The Ghoul, as its name suggests, is all about the new Ghoul features that are now live in the game. Not only can players play as a Ghoul, but they can also collect items to decorate their CAMPs to look more Ghoul-like. Just like every other season, unlocking all of the rewards isn’t easy.

The Ghoul Within update has brought some significant changes to Fallout 76.

While getting to rank 100 is a challenge in itself, unlocking every reward requires players to rank up much further than rank 100. Because of this, players will need to do lots of grinding to purchase every available item. That said, there are a few things that you can do to drastically speed up the process.

Don’t Complete Your Weekly Challenges Straight Away

Weekly Challenges In Fallout 76

While this may seem a little counter-intuitive, it’s often best to hold off on completing weekly challenges for the first couple of days. There’s one weekly challenge that remains the same week to week.

That challenge is to earn three Gold Stars. This can be achieved by completing all daily challenges (all but one for Fallout First Members) for three days of a given week. Upon doing so, you’ll receive a healthy amount of score. Because this challenge takes three days to complete, it’s best to try and avoid completing any other weekly challenges until the third day.

Then, prior to completing the third Gold Star Challenge, use a Score Booster to increase the amount of score you receive by 25% for 24 hours. Typically, a single Score Booster costs 100 Atoms in the Atomic Shop. However, they are also given out as the occasional season reward. Not only that, but throughout the season, you can unlock Atoms which can be used to purchase these boosters.

To go one step further, consume a Score Booster a couple of hours after the daily challenges have been refreshed on the third day. By doing this, you’ll be able to get a 25% boost to all weekly challenges, and two days’ worth of daily challenges.

Try To Avoid Refreshing Daily Challenges

When using a Re-Roller, you have a chance to roll an Epic Challenge. These challenges are usually slightly more difficult than regular ones. However, they also give more Score. An Epic Weekly Challenge offers considerably more Score than an Epic Daily Challenge.

Because of this, it’s far more beneficial to use Re-Rollers on weekly challenges in the hopes of getting an epic one. Also, if you are trying to avoid completing any weekly challenges until you are ready to earn your third Gold Star, then using a Re-Roller on a common weekly challenge can help prevent you from accidentally completing a challenge too soon.

Make The Most Of Double XP Weekends

High Level Players Waving In Fallout 76

According to Bethesda’s recently released road map, there will be a double XP weekend happening between April 17 and April 21. During any given season, provided you are between rank 1 and rank 100, you’ll earn a minimum of 100 score for every 10,000 XP earned.

While it doesn’t sound like a lot, this can quickly add up, especially if you are using other XP buffs to further boost the benefits. With the right consumables, it’s possible to use a Double XP Weekend and enjoy triple or even quadruple the amount of XP that you’d normally get. These weekends are perfect for both leveling up and progressing through the season.

Complete All Challenges During Double Score Weekends

Score Booster IN Fallout 76

Similar to Double XP Weekends, Double Score Weekends are perfect for getting through the season rewards faster than normal. Unfortunately, Double Score Weekends only target Daily Challenges. So, weekly challenges will offer the same amount of Score as normal.

However, being able to earn double the amount of Score for daily challenges is very beneficial, especially if you haven’t been able to play an awful lot. As for the dates, there are three Double Score Weekends coming up. However, it’s unclear how long this season will last, so the final announced Double Score Weekend may be for next season. The dates can be seen below:

  • April 3–April 7
  • May 22–May 26
  • June 20–June 24

Grind Raids (Veteran Players Only)

Entering The Gleaming Depths Cave

Raids are Fallout 76’s most difficult game mode. It is for experienced players only. To complete a raid in its entirety you’ll need to complete 5 stages:

  • Defeat The EN06 Guardian
  • Fill And Defend The Drill
  • Defeat Enclave Squad Epsilon
  • Survive The Ultragenetic Horde
  • Kill The Ultracite Terror

Each stage offers progressively more XP. If you are making use of various XP-boosting buffs, then completing a Raid from start to finish can net you hundreds of thousands of XP. As mentioned, this is the hardest game mode, so players should be well-prepared. Unfortunately, due to the difficulty of Raids, if a low-level player attempts to join a Raid’s Team, then they will most likely be kicked off. This mode really is aimed at high-level players.

Run West Tek

West Tek Facility In Fallout 76

Running West Tek has been something that many veteran players have been doing for a very long time. There are lots of online tutorials that go over the best ways of clearing this location fast. West Tek is a research facility that is filled with Super Mutants. Because of the layout of the facility and the sheer number of enemies that lie within, players can earn large amounts of XP in just a few minutes.

Clearing West Tek quickly does take some practice, but once you’ve mastered it, you can rank up multiple times per hour just by completing the repeatable earn XP challenge. While clearing West Tek isn’t particularly easy for low-level players, it is considerably easier than completing a Raid. So, if you are a low to mid-level player who wants to earn XP fast, it might be a good idea to try combing through West Tek a few times. Just be sure to bring plenty of bullets.
