In Cyberpunk 2077, there are not just side quests and main quests. In addition to the main content of the game, there are also hundreds of gigs that players will be able to unlock as they enter new areas and advance in street cred. Higher street cred means more difficult and interesting, as well as versatile jobs, so it’s worth grinding these mini-quests given by the city’s fixers.

You might have missed these jobs when playing Cyberpunk 2077. Here’s how to start them.
There’s still a lot that isn’t known about these fixers and how they work in the game. However, what is known is that each of them oversees a specific area of Night City, and many of these areas have a set difficulty at the beginning of the game. As such, some fixers tend to give out more difficult tasks, or have less tasks to give out depending on the size of their area. Here are the fixers to prioritize as a newcomer to Night City.
Updated March 20, 2025 by Matthew Cochran: Cyberpunk 2077 is a game that has seen more love post-release than most games out there, and every major update both fixed critical errors while adding a slew of new content that made the world of Cyberpunk 2077 endlessly interactive. With the release of the Phantom Liberty DLC, a whole game’s worth of content was available to new and returning players while also making changes to the base game, particularly with a handful of fixers, including Mr. Hands. With the 2.2 update, some of our fixers can even be added to photo mode, creating opportunities for all new shots within Night City.

Dexter DeShawn
A hypocrite and coward who is oozing with charisma, Dexter Deshawn is the second fixer who has a job for you, which sets off the events of the rest of the game. Already introduced following his mysterious reappearance in Night City, Dexter Deshawn seems to operate on his own rules.
What makes Dexter a hypocrite is the way he sways V onto his side, praising you early on for choosing to go out in a “blaze of glory,” only to be revealed later on that this job would help him retire and disappear. Being the only fixer who betrays you as soon as things get sticky, Dexter deserves last place.
Returning to the location where Takemura Shoots Dexter, you can find his iconic pistol.

Dino Dinovic
A somewhat relevant rockerboy who operates out of a dingy club in Night City’s center, Dino Dinovic is perhaps one of the most underwhelming fixers in Night City. Not particularly ambitious and more of an opportunist than a planner, Dino feels more in line as a local dealer.
However, Dino did get some love in the official comic series, wherein he betrays someone close to him and sells out a ganger to Maelstrom for some eddies. While it’s pointless policing morals in Night City, Dino doesn’t seem to care either way.
7
Dakota Smith
A fixer more associated with nomads than anyone in the city, Dakota Smith is one of the most respected figures across the Badlands outside Night City. She also has a close relationship with the Aldecaldos, to the point where she even gives out free weapons during the We Gotta Live Together job if you choose that ending.
However, other than that, Dakota Smith doesn’t much care for V even after completing all of her gigs, preferring that she live between the worlds of the city and nomads while choosing neither. Despite this, the respect she has garnered cannot be denied.
6
Wakako Okada
One of the more interesting fixers, Wakako Okada is the first fixer you officially do a job for at the start of the game, setting the tone for the rest of the story and for fixers in general. Compared to most fixers, Wakako seems to be juggling enemies from all sides, especially from the Tyger Claws gang.
Also, having outlived all five of her husbands, there is no doubt that Wakako is a survivor, but definitely one that you should think twice about trusting. Wakako is even featured in the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime, serving gigs to a few main characters.
5
Sebastian “Padre” Ibarra
Depending on your starting path, Padre can be the first fixer you come in contact with, and he also has a surprising amount of information on you, betraying his ability to keep his ear to the ground. Considered more of a leader figure than a mere fixer, the people of Heywood come to him to settle their disputes.
Every conversation you have with Padre seems like speaking to your own grandfather, silently demanding respect and always offering solid advice. Padre is also a member at Jackie’s funeral, allowing you two to share stories about the best choombatta in all of Night City.
4
Muamar “El Capitán” Reyes
One who is well suited to the life of a fixer but chooses to rise above it, El Capitán is a fixer for all things auto, even running the AutoFixer site where you can buy vehicles. With the addition of Phantom Liberty, El Capitán even gives you new gig types that unlock more vehicles to purchase and give you excuses to use car perks.

From the Tsumetogi to the Cocktail Stick, here are the best katanas in Cyberpunk 2077.
Unlike the other fixers, El Capitán will leave Night City for good after completing all of his gigs, having helped the people as much as he can since leaving the corpo life behind him. Perhaps the most morally superior fixer you come across, El Capitán deserves whatever life he makes for himself.
Make sure you don’t finish all of El Capitán’s gigs before starting Phantom Liberty, or he will not give you AutoFixer gigs.
3
Regina Jones
To Cyberpunk 2077 completionists, Regina’s many, many gigs at the start of the game make her very familiar to you if you choose to grind them out. She is also the focus of the Skippy missions, revealing her to be one of the AI’s previous owners before being wiped.
Once a former media turned independent journalist, Regina is a fixer only because it helps her expose the worst secrets out there, especially with the help of V. She also has a unique gig type, introducing V to the world of cyberpsychosis and including some of the game’s best visuals while potentially helping them recover.
2
Wade “Mr. Hands” Bleecker
One of the most ambitious fixers in the game, especially after the introduction of Phantom Liberty, Mr. Hands stands at the feet of Dogtown and isn’t afraid to stare it down. Mr. Hands seems to have connections everywhere and can accomplish almost anything with enough time and greased wheels.
By the end of the Phantom Liberty DLC, Mr. Hands even had his own hands in choosing who would become the district’s next leader, controlling the politics from the shadows, which was very much in line with his methods. The most enigmatic and charismatic fixer, Mr. Hands is definitely suited to the job.
1
Rogue Amendiares
Rogue is a fixer’s fixer, rising to the very top of Night City’s street life and only taking the most difficult jobs out there. A living legend, Rogue had to accomplish a lot of dirty tasks to get to the top, which is exposed thanks to Johnny Silverhand’s insight and personal experience.
More involved in main quests and throughout the game than any other fixer, Rogue gets the most love and attention as she is put front and center of the action. Her gigs and various missions also don’t disappoint, offering many unique rewards, including some of the strongest iconic gear in the game.
The only way to get the Pride and Prejudice iconic weapons is by choosing Rogue to help you storm Arasaka tower in the final mission.
