Capcom has announced that it’ll be hosting a showcase on March 25 that will show off the first big title update that’s coming to Monster Hunter Wilds next month.

Although the latest massive entry in the Monster Hunter series, Monster Hunter Wilds, has only been out for a few weeks now, that hasn’t stopped the most hardcore of players from absolutely rinsing it of all its content. Combine that with the fact that Wilds is generally a lot easier than World and Rise, and it means a good chunk of the community is already waiting for what’s next.

How many is “several”?

Luckily, we already know that we won’t be waiting long at all to find out what’s in store for Monster Hunter Wilds, as Capcom already confirmed before launch that we’d be seeing a bit title update in April. We know a few details of what we can expect, but it looks like we’ll be getting a full look in just a few days.

We Won’t Have To Wait Long To See What’s Next For Monster Hunter Wilds

Earlier today, the official Monster Hunter Twitter account announced that a Monster Hunter Wilds Showcase, which will be hosted by producer Ryozo Tsujimoto, will be going live on March 25 at 7am Pacific Time and 2pm UK time. The showcase will focus on the first free title update coming to the game in early April.

Capcom has already shared some details on the upcoming update, including the fact that it’ll bring back fan-favourite Monster, Mizutsune, along with some other additions. The most interesting of these is the promise of a challenge that’s tougher than Tempered Monsters, something that fans have already been trying to guess over the past few weeks.

One of the leading fan-theories right now is that Wilds is going to bring back Arch-Tempered monsters from World.

Perhaps the biggest thing that’s going to be revealed during the showcase, though, is a proper release date for the Title Update. We’ve known for a bit that it’s going to coming at some point in April, but the dedicated presentation on it will likely give us a proper release timing to wait for. Knowing Capcom, it won’t be all that long until we’re able to dive in.
