With the battles against the Shinju unfolding in the Land of Wind, it’s only a given that the action was on a whole another level and the plot surrounding it was absolutely phenomenal as well. Boruto: Two Blue Vortex keeps on surpassing all fan expectations, and hopefully, this will continue into the next few months as well, as the Shinju battles reach their climax.

If there’s one character that fans were largely disappointed by in the Two Blue Vortex series, it is Konohamaru Sarutobi. Having been a popular Naruto character back in the day, fans expected a lot from Konohamaru and unfortunately, this character hardly delivered. In Two Blue Vortex, things seemed to be the same when, in the Land of Wind, Konohamaru Sarutobi wasn’t able to do much in the confrontation against Matsuri. Initially, Konohamaru was told to not let his feelings get the better of him and simply befriend the Shinju. He failed to do so in his attempt to get closer to Matsuri and invoked her wrath. As a result, Konohamaru wound up on death’s door, which was to be expected.

In Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 20, Konohamaru was able to make amends, in part. He was successfully able to play with the emotions of Matsuri, making her hesitate and leading her to stop her attempt to consume him. Then, when her guard was down, Konohamaru unleashed a twin Giant Rasengan on her and dealt a ton of damage to her. This blew Matsuri’s body in half, but she still managed to survive. Konohamaru could’ve actually finished her off completely in one strike, as Jura pointed out. Because of his feelings of love, however, he hesitated and couldn’t finish Matsuri off, which led to her counterattack. Now, Konohamaru Sarutobi finds himself on death’s door once again and things will only get more intense from here onwards.
Sarada Uchiha Finally Awakens Her Mangekyo Sharingan
Ryu Beats Everyone Around Him
On the other side of the desert, fans got to see Sarada’s group fighting against Ryu, and it was most certainly not going to be an easy battle. After Araya lost his sword, the battle was doomed and even Mitsuki, with his Sage Mode, couldn’t keep up with Ryu. What’s more, Yodo was delivered a deadly blow right through her gut, knocking her fully out of commission. This made things extremely difficult for the team, and things went from bad to worse when Ryu took control of everyone’s bodies, paralyzing them and preparing to slaughter them one by one.

Sarada Uchiha Reawakens The Mangekyo Sharingan
Sarada Uchiha was always destined to get the Mangekyo Sharingan, and after fans saw her get this power before the timeskip during the Omnipotence, it was clear that she would go on to wield this power in the future. Sarada did just that in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 20. Thanks to the support from Yodo and the mess around her, Sarada realized that she should be using her own powers for herself as well as for those who she holds dear, including Boruto. This led to her realizing that she was wasting her true power, and finally, the Mangekyo Sharingan was out.
With its black hole powers, Sarada was able to suck in all the Iron Sand, and now, the real battle is only just getting started. With Sarada at the center of it all, the next chapter is going to be absolutely massive and readers of the story absolutely cannot wait.
