- Muddy Apostle Medal enables frequent co-op power orb generation, enhancing overall damage output significantly.
33 Immortals has taken the gaming world by storm, bringing together all the best elements of the rogue genres and combining them with a large open space filled with a bunch of teammates to coordinate with and take down the boss at the end of the stage. Part of this involves leveling up perks and weapons in Dark Wood, increasing stats with the dust, and collecting powerful relic items that drastically alter how the game plays and feels.
With a long list of gloves, feathers, and all manner of weird and wonderful items to collect, the player is spoiled for choice when it comes to choosing the right set for the run. Thankfully, there is a reroll mechanic, which makes tailoring the build to a specific goal fairly easy, and the weaker less useful relics can be swapped out for strong ones that can be the difference between victory and defeat.

Desecrated Paten
Everyone, Get Behind Me!
- You and nearby players have protection (-20% damage taken)
When taking on large groups of enemies, particularly the tricky boss fights, taking damage is almost guaranteed, and some enemies certainly hit like a truck. And with a limited amount of experience upgrades available, oftentimes players will want to stat into damage or empathy as opposed to health, becoming more like a glass cannon that struggles to take significant punishment.
With this relic, players can worry far less about the high-damage attacks from enemies while also providing the same buff to all allies in the area. As the final fight will likely involve at least 15 players, the damage reduction being applied to every single fighter is a massive buff and increases the chance of survival significantly. It’s a support relic first and thus doesn’t provide a huge individual bonus, but it’s useful in its own right in the right circumstances.

Bloodstained Stole
Arrows Never Stop Coming
- Your co-op power generates +100% faster
When picking a weapon type, players will want to decide on the kind of playstyle that suits them best, with the co-op power being a large part of what makes the weapon strong or not. The shield power and rain of arrows are for sure the two strongest in the game, one providing insane damage output and the other amping the survivability of a few allies significantly.

Roguelikes & Roguelites With Innovative Gameplay
These roguelikes and roguelites spice up the usual formula with unexpected and innovative gameplay guaranteed to reel players in.
Normally, these powers take a while to charge up, requiring lots of fighting and aggression to build in time. But with the Bloodstained Stole, the rate is doubled, allowing players to cast multiple powers in a single shrine and shred through the boss’s health pool in no time thanks to the shorter time between casts. Obviously, outside of the co-op power, it is basically useless, but buffing the best part of the player’s kit is certainly an option to consider.

Lamp of Purifying Flames
Take A Breather
- You regenerate 1% health every 5 seconds
Health in 33 Immortals is a resource that is as scarce as it is precious, as players have to expertly dodge their way through enemy fire and use their bones at opportune times to maximize their value. Having a passive heal that continuously provides regeneration over time is invaluable, especially considering that many of the fights take quite a while to take down.
It’s not uncommon to enter a shrine or ascend to the boss and heal over 50 health just by existing. Considering the challenging combat and difficult-to-dodge projectiles, taking damage is pretty common, so having a reliable way to heal reduces stress and increases the chance of victory. The only downside, of course, is that if the player is skilled enough, they can maintain their full health bar for a longer period, so it is more tailored to players struggling with dodging and in need of a little boost.

Blessed Chains
The Weak Become The Mighty
- Your light attacks deal +50% damage your heavy attacks deal -50% damage
When marching across the different areas, players can choose to fight enemies with a variety of combos and attack patterns that may be better or worse at dealing with specific kinds of enemies. For instance, the sword class has a charge attack that is great for stunning and dealing with larger groups, while the light attack is quicker but deals slightly less damage.
For the most part, it is quite easy to get by just spamming the light attacks, so having an enormous 50% buff is significant if the weapon chosen doesn’t have that best heavy attack. The Sword of Justice and the Staff of Sloth are the best users for this relic, as their specials can be overlooked in place of a significant boost to the DPS.

Lover’s Skull
A Buff From A Valentine
Simple and powerful, the Lover’s Skull gives one of the best damage buffs in the game, with zero drawbacks or requirements. By increasing the damage output of the player’s basic skills and co-op powers, enemies get shredded and it is a great choice for players looking for a more aggressive relic as opposed to a supportive one.

The following action roguelike and roguelite games have dynamic enemy encounters to keep players on their toes.
The other nice perk is that by having no downside or requirement, players are free to enjoy the great gameplay the way it was intended, without having to focus on meeting certain conditions or performing specific actions. Just a straight damage buff that is great for any and all builds and weapons.

Holy Book Of Hymns
Focus Fire Frenzy
- Your critical hits deal +25% damage per nearby player (max +250%)
33 Immortals introduces a unique co-op aspect to the roguelite genre where players gain a benefit for focusing on the same target for extended periods. By attacking the boss at the same time or swapping to an elite enemy, players build up the co-strike combo which adds a critical strike chance to every attack, effectively doubling the damage output when it lands.
The Holy Book of Hymns takes that bonus and shoots straight through the roof, increasing the damage output significantly and providing a ludicrous boost to boss killing late in the game. It is quite dependent on the number of players, with the max buff being unlocked at 10 nearby teammates, but most lobbies survive with that amount by the end, keeping up the crit damage right until the final hit.
2
Melted Bishop Ring
Rally The Troops
- You gain +8% damage per player near you (max +120%)
A great choice for taking down foes in larger groups, the Melted Bishop Ring is the biggest flat damage buff in the whole game. No need to stack up co-strikes and no other downsides, just raw damage output while fighting as a team, which is basically the entire game.
The maximum buff requires 15 players to reach, which is fairly easy to get during the boss fight. But even early on when going through shrines, having a few players around still gives a substantial buff that scales well into the final encounter. It is unmatched in power at its peak and is consistent throughout the run.
1
Muddy Apostle Medal
Permanent Shields And Insane Damage Output
- Your co-strikes have a 25% chance to generate co-op power orbs
The best relic in the whole game is, hands down, the Muddy Apostle Medal. While other relics might give damage resist or some handy stat buffs, being able to spam the co-op powers during shrines and bosses is a sure way to take them down in no time.
When popping the effect, the blue orbs pop out with great frequency, as it is not dependent on how high the player’s co-strike level is, but rather just the co-strikes themselves. It is common to be able to cast multiple powers in a single shrine, and when focusing down a boss, players can build their ult in a matter of seconds, providing so much utility and damage output that is hard to match.
