7 Best Stealth Perks In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

The Stealth perk section is one of the nine major skills in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Spies are a part of the game’s lore, which is a given based on the game’s setting of Medieval Bohemia, and you come across a few characters that are masters of deception.

Stealth points affect the amount of noise you make while sneaking, and also have an effect on guards’ and other NPCs’ chances of detecting you when you’re intruding on places you shouldn’t. This stat can be leveled up by pickpocketing, lockpicking, and committing other acts of stealth.

Stealth Kill And Takedown

• Enables you to perform stealth kills and non-lethal takedowns.

Although these two perks are unlocked right from the start, they’re still a bit difficult to pull off due to the QTE-like attack and block icons that pop up while performing them, which are very hard to get right without any accompanying perks.

Speaking of accompanying perks, it’s pretty much a necessity to get the Tight Grip perk from the Strength stat, as it makes it far easier to perform both stealth kills and takedowns based on the level of your Strength stat.

Ambusher

• Surprise attacking a target will deal 20 percent more damage.

Ambusher lets you do a lot more damage on unaware enemies. If you’re able to sneak up on them, you can actually perform up to two to three attacks without engaging in locked-on combat by pressing the guard and attack buttons at the same time.

This enables you to perform thrust attacks outside of combat and lets you stack that 20 percent damage bonus for two to three thrust attacks before they become aware of you and engage in a melee battle.

You can also combine this with the Surprise Attack perk, which works with ranged weapons such as bows and crossbows to inflict a debuff on unsuspecting enemies before attacking them.

Escape Artist 2

• NPCs give up searching for you a lot sooner when they’re suspicious of you.

There are two parts to this perk, with the combined effect being that both guards and normal NPCs will stop searching for an intruder a lot more quickly if they have noticed that something is amiss.

This makes sneaking around and stealing items much easier. Escape Artist 2 is something you’ll likely acquire later on in the game though, and Escape Artist 1 doesn’t provide as much of an immediate bonus, so it’s best to leave these both for later, unless you find yourself in tricky situations quite often.

Quickhand

• NPCs won’t notice you pickpocketing or lockpicking from a distance.

Quickhand makes picking locks and stealing items from NPCs so much easier. This perk drastically reduces their line of sight, making them unaware of your presence from even a slight distance.

This is especially useful for pickpocketing in areas with several NPCs around. However, it’s not as useful for lockpicking, since most of the locks, such as chests, are indoors anyway, and you won’t have to worry about wandering NPCs as much.

You can combine this with multiple perks from the Thievery skill tree to become a master stealer, such as Nimble Fingers, Rapid Flight, Silent Fiddler, and Tool Master.

Weasel Boy

• Reduces noise by 35 percent when sneaking outdoors.

Weasel Boy is great for stealth builds as it reduces the amount of noise you make when sneaking outdoors by a whopping 35 percent. If that’s not enough, you can combine it with two other perks with similar benefits.

Bushman reduces noise by 50 percent when sneaking in bushes specifically, while Rodent reduces noise by 25 percent when sneaking indoors. These three are a must-have if you love sneaking around, and they make thievery and stealth kills or knockouts so much easier.

Fleeting Shadow 2

• You gain a bonus to Stealth, Agility, and Vitality when you’re wanted for a crime.

This is another two-parter perk, but even the first part of this perk provides a substantial bonus that is best acquired as soon as you can. Fleeting Shadow 1 gives you a +3 bonus to Stealth with a +2 bonus to Agility and Vitality, while Fleeting Shadow 2 increases this to +5 bonus for Stealth and a +3 bonus for Agility and Vitality.

Given that either of these perks lasts for a rather lengthy 120 seconds, this is a must-have for players more inclined to commit crimes and get away with it.

Should you decide to fight your way out of it, the Lawbreaker perk from the Thievery skill gives you a +3 bonus to Strength and Warfare when you’re wanted for a crime.

Ordinary Man

• People forget your crimes quicker, and guards won’t search your belongings as much.

Ordinary man is a great perk if you’ve been committing a lot of crimes, including stealing a lot of food, items, and gear. The NPCs in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 are extremely sharp, and it’s very hard to outsmart them, but with this perk, they won’t hold as much of a grudge and forget about it after a few in-game days.

Additionally, if you do get caught, guards are far less likely to search you for stolen items, and you can get off just by paying a small fine but still keeping the stolen items with you.

If guards do search you, it’s best to get the Hidden Pockets perk from the Thievery skill as it reduces the chances of detection by 33 percent.
