Nata has got a lot of hate since the release of Monster Hunter Wilds. The character is one of the first we see in the game as they’re tragically separated from their tribe by the White Wraith.

If you’ve ever wanted to hunt Nata in Monster Hunter Wilds, now’s your chance.
A new mod posted on Nexus Mods by boizoi is equal parts hilarious and horrific, with the creator merging Nata with the Arkveld, creating the Natarkveld. The monster is described as a “horrific amalgamation of both Nata and Arkveld,” and it’s precisely that.
While many of the Arkveld and Guardian Arkveld’s core characteristics remain the same, the Natarkveld features Nata’s face and, for some reason, his hands.
In Wilds, Nata is famed for saying the line “Arkveld and I are the same,” and thanks to boizoi, that has never been truer.
Naturally, the mod has gone down a treat with Monster Hunter Wilds’ Nata hating contingent, with one comment on the mod saying, “At first, I wanted to vomit, then…I realized I could live my life-long dream of killing Nata.”
The Nata x Arkveld mod is just one of the ways creative, slightly weird Monster Hunter Wilds players have decided to express themselves. Last week, we reported on a mod that removed monsters’ fur and feathers, for some reason, effectively making them bald, and other players have been using the game’s sticker system to request feet pictures and other lewd things.
