One of the marketing points for Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island is that it doesn’t use generative AI, a badge that the developer wears proudly. In February, Polygon Treehouse Creative Director Alex Kanaris-Sotiriou introduced the seal, which allows indie devs to easily assure players that no generative AI was used in a project’s development. While there is no practice in place to ensure that those who display the badge are being honest, the concept depends on an honor system and is nevertheless a step in the right direction when it comes to AI use.
Members of Microsoft’s subscription service still have a couple more exciting games to look forward to before the month ends and even more arriving in April. Standout titles coming to Game Pass include Atomfall, which will be launching day one on March 27 for Ultimate subscribers. The survival action game transports players to post-nuclear Britain, where they will have to scrounge and barter for goods, craft weapons and armor, and of course, fight for survival.
On April 8, Game Pass Ultimate subscribers have another day-one release to be excited about: South of Midnight, the highly anticipated action-adventure experience by We Happy Few’s Compulsion Games. And near the end of the month, on April 28, gamers will finally be able to jump into Sandfall Interactive’s Clair Obscure: Expedition 33, a turn-based RPG inspired by France’s pre-war Belle Epoque.
