Between buying and finding an assortment of adorable frog furniture around the worlds in Mudborne, your spare frogs will be hanging out back home in style. Whether you’re giving everyone an individual pool or making a cute little colony, here’s where to get frog furniture.
Frog Furniture Is Adorable Frog Storage
You’ve likely found a plethora of storage options for your resources like plant pieces, bugs, and more, but does anyone else feel a little weird cramming their extra frogs into crates and treasure chests like they’re a belonging? If you’d rather display your frogs back home in a more ornate, humane fashion, you can invest in assorted decorative pieces for them. Once you’ve gotten some frog furniture, simply place the furniture down from your inventory like any other chest, and you’ll see a decorative new piece in your pond.
There are a number of ways to get new frog furniture in Mudborne. You’re given a pair of arches for free for finishing the Hop To It! chapter of the Compendium, and you’ll get five frog statues after reading each section of the A.N.O.U.R.E.S. tutorial, but from there, you’ll need to get more on your own. Items can be picked up as you explore the world if you interact with them using the hammer tool – they’ll be added to your inventory for you to bring home to use for decorating.
Depending on the size of the piece you get, each piece of frog furniture can potentially hold several frogs – the arches from the tutorial have four slots, while the ponds only have one each. To drop off your pals, simply interact with the piece of furniture like you would a storage chest, and you’ll see a menu appear that has between one and four slots.
Want additional furniture in an assortment of styles? Talk to the helper frogs in each area; they’re always willing to trade.
The only items you’re able to stash here are the frogs you’ve caught as you run around each ecosystem’s map, but once you stash your frog here, you can see each frog atop the furniture in the overworld. A great use for the frog furniture you find in Mudborne is to have a safe place to keep frogs with traits you’re trying to reproduce in some way, so you know right where they are when it’s time to get down to breeding To take them back, simply reopen the menu and grab them again!
Frogs will not reproduce when sharing frog furniture; the only way to breed frogs is by using the traditional spawner to nursery to feeder progression. That said, your frogs can also be stashed in the spawner boxes if you’re looking for some extra space; they just will be procreating while they’re there.

What Does Cozy Gaming Mean To You?
To me, a cozy game is less about what you’re doing and more about how it makes you feel. It doesn’t have to be all cute animals or farming fields (though those don’t hurt); if I can sink into it like a warm blanket, it’s cozy.
