Universal Orlando Resort has pulled back the curtain on its highly anticipated new theme park, Epic Universe, offering fans an exclusive first look at the immersive worlds and thrilling attractions set to debut when the park opens on May 22. From the celestial gateway that welcomes Universal guests into the park to expansive lands inspired by beloved franchises like Harry Potter, How to Train Your Dragon, Super Mario, and Universal’s classic monsters, Epic Universe is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious theme park expansions in history.
The adventure begins in Celestial Park, the main hub of Epic Universe and the first world guests will step into. The entrance portal, an awe-inspiring structure, sets the tone with an inscription that reads, “Beyond this gate, find gardens green and epic worlds to fill your dreams.” Inside, guests will discover The Chronos Device, a mysterious machine that is said to power the world-jumping technology that connects each of the park’s lands. The tower itself incorporates design elements representing the different worlds, adding to the park’s overarching theme of exploration and discovery.
