If you’re a fan of Legendary Pokemon cards in the Pokemon TCG, then Legends Awakened has an excellent lineup for you. The Diamond and Pearl era includes a collection of top-tier cards, featuring Pokemon with specific levels, including rare LV. X Pokemon chase cards to enjoy.
While some of the best cards in Legends Awakened are indisputably legends with the LV. X suffix, there are a handful of other gorgeous cards to collect in this set. From Dragonite and Gliscor to Uxie and Azelf, these Legends Awakened chase cards stand out as some of the best mid-vintage offerings from the Pokemon TCG.
Cards are ordered according to their Market Prices on TCGplayer. Any cards without a Market Price are not included.
7
Rayquaza (Holo Rare) – $40.12
All Smiles
In a set dedicated primarily to Legendary Pokemon, it shouldn’t come as a surprise to spot a top-tier Rayquaza card among the most valuable entries. While this Rayquaza doesn’t look as long and magnificent as some renderings of the green dragon, its signature open mouth provides needed contrast between the dark background and Rayquaza’s form.
Despite being one of the most popular Legendary Pokemon in the TCG, Rayquaza’s placement among the best Legends Awakened chase cards is surprisingly low, losing out to one of the members of the Lake Guardian Trio by a minuscule margin.
6
Azelf LV. X (Ultra Rare) – $40.48
Rising Legends
Rayquaza fails to reach parity with Azelf LV. X – for now, as the margin is so small that these cards may flip-flop at any moment, shaking up the hierarchy among Legends Awakened’s best chase cards.
However, Azelf’s massive come-up is impressive no matter what happens, as some moderately played (MP) sales skyrocketed from $15 to well over $40, creating a huge ripple effect that several of the other best legendary Pokemon from this set had to respect. However, keep in mind that near-mint (NM) sales are hard to find.
5
Dragonite (Holo Rare) – $41.06
Onto Greater Pastures
Dragonite’s most valuable cards are iconic, and while this valuable Legends Awakened version hasn’t reached the same level of stardom as cards like the Dragonite from Fossil, this artwork has a lot of potential to make it big. From the stars glimmering in the background to the beautiful holo pattern, this Dragonite has everything you want in a chase card.

NM copies of the Holo version of this card greatly exceed the current market price, selling for up to $75. However, the reverse holo version of Dragonite doesn’t command anywhere near the same amounts, with moderately played (MP) copies of the reverse selling for as little as $15.
4
Gliscor LV. X (Ultra Rare) – $46.14
A Gliscor Glow-Up
Gliscor might be one of the biggest surprises to ever appear among some of the most expensive cards on any list, as this Pokemon rarely sees much love. However, as a LV. X with artwork that features a depiction of this Pokemon that’s ready to jump out of the card border, it’s easy to see why this card captures attention.
NM copies of Gliscor have been steadily on the rise, swelling from the $30 range into the 40s, where the market price currently sits. The momentum pushed the price past the $45 mark, but there hasn’t been consistent momentum to keep this card’s price rising into new territory.
3
Mesprit LV. X (Ultra Rare) – $46.82
Pink And Purple Perfection
Mesprit makes it into the top three cards in Legends Awakened thanks to an impressive comeback story that saw this card sink to unusual lows before rebounding to impressive heights. Mesprit hovered in the $45 range in 2024, dropping to as low as $30 during the year.

However, late 2024 saw Mesprit begin to rise, creeping out of the 30s, hitting the $40 mark, and continuing to rise to its current market price, as it seems content with settling around this new mark.
2
Mewtwo LV. X (Ultra Rare) – $89.98
A Legend In Action
Everybody knows Mewtwo, and while this Pokemon’s best cards are far more expensive than this one, the LV. X art is one of the most underrated Mewtwo cards in the Pokemon TCG. The glorious action pose that Mewtwo strikes on this card is breathtaking, as it charges up an attack capable of destroying anything in its path.
Unlike some of the other best cards in Legends Awakened, Mewtwo has been falling since early 2024, plummeting out of the triple-digit range into its current market price of around $90. This Mewtwo’s rise is destined to come soon, so be sure to grab this card while you can.
1
Uxie LV. X (Ultra Rare) – $99.97
The Top Of The Trio Chain
Who would ever expect Uxie to outshine not only its fellow Lake Guardians but also top the charts as the most valuable Pokemon in Legends Awakened, beating out Mewtwo by a solid margin? While these rankings are temporary, Uxie stands clear of Mewtwo thanks to a meteoric rise to the top.
However, you should take Uxie’s rise with a grain of salt, as there aren’t many other NM sales to support the nearly $100 market price that keeps this card at the top. More sales will be required to confirm this card’s price, but for now, Uxie remains the best card in Legends Awakened, beating out Mewtwo for the crown.
