The anime industry never sleeps; just as one season ends, another begins. While not quite containing as many big names as its two immediate predecessors, the Spring 2025 anime lineup still has the potential to be fantastic, varied, and just plain old entertaining.

Spring 2025 includes major sequels like Fire Force, Wind Breaker, I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level, Aharen Is Indecipherable, Go! Go! Loser Ranger!, Black Butler, along with a highly-anticipated My Hero Academia prequel called Vigilantes. The season also has more than a few compelling newcomers, particularly The Beginning After the End, Lazarus, and From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman.

With more than 40 Spring 2025 anime set to fight for attention over the coming months, keeping track of everything can be difficult. Things are complicated further by the fact that the lineup is split across multiple Western streaming platforms, with Crunchyroll, HIDIVE, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Hulu all announcing exclusive shows.
