Apart from receiving various glowing reviews, the EA-published title also sold one million copies within its launch month. One of the major factors behind its popularity is the highly extensive character creation suite, which certain players have since used to bring characters from other popular IPs into Spore time and again. Most recently, one passionate player shared certain Pokemon characters created in the life sim and wowed fans of the long-running franchise.
