Ensemble Stars Music is considered one of the most challenging mobile rhythm games that will take all of your patience, skill, and endurance if you want to survive its hardest tracks. From purposefully unfair joke tracks to rapid rhythms that reach ridiculous Beats-Per-Minute, there won’t be a moment of recovery for your tired fingers.
A few of these tracks are currently exclusive to the JP servers. With time, they will come over to the Global servers, so if you cannot find a listed song in the tracklist, don’t worry; it will make its way over.

Never Ending Symphonia
A Rush Of Endless Tapping
Get ready for a track that will feel as long as an extended song with Never Ending Symphonia. This track is most well known for its dense, never-ending notes that rapidly transition between sections, which, when combined with its painstakingly long length of 2:33, is a recipe for disaster.
Even the most experienced of players will struggle to keep up with the sheer quantity of notes that will come rushing towards you on the Expert version of the song. Missing even one note can easily throw your rhythm off for any song, but in Never Ending Symphonia, it is detrimental to remain calm and ignore any missed notes.

Nightless World
A World Of Pain To Clear
You will probably always struggle to sleep after attempting to beat Nightless World’s Special difficulty variant. This song will take you through a rough rhythm that will overwhelm you with bursts of unpredictable notes countless times throughout its two-minute runtime.
The goal for this track is just to survive the intense opening, which instantly throws you straight into the darkness of difficulty. The unrelenting number of notes will demolish you before the song even has a chance to start and will set you up to fear the rest of the track. A bad start can easily spiral into failing the song later down the track.

Knockin’ Fantasy
Flickin’ Over And Over
You will have your hopes knocked down over and over as you attempt the demanding Knockin’ Fantasy. In this song, you had better master all kinds of notes, as it requires you to switch between them at light-speed reaction times, especially in the Special difficulty variant.

The main obstacle you are asked to overcome is the aggressive assault of up and down flick notes that will have your fingers constantly misplaced. One section of the song takes this to its extremes with unforgiving flick notes that can obliterate your combo after expecting near-perfect timing.

Breakthrough
Inventing New Levels Of Difficulty
Make sure to warm up your fingers and prepare them for almost 1,000 notes of anarchy in Breakthrough! This track brings in a flurry of notes that will rush down the chart one after another with no end in sight. It is sure to give you flashbacks to the many other fast-paced charts from other similar titles like Bandori.
Combine this endless note-filled mess with the 2:27 length, and you will feel your fingers start to hurt after just the first attempt. This is all due to this song’s constant bursts of notes, which won’t ever give you a break despite the long runtime. This leads to each time you try draining not just your in-game BP stamina but your hand’s stamina too…

Bukubu New Stars!!
A Track That Loves To Troll You
This silly track is one of the infamous April Fool’s Day tracks that was added to the game specifically to be a track that messes with you. Bukubu New Stars!! has a unique feature where the notes have been changed into chibi art of the Band BB members, and they also make weird noises, one of which is a pretty irritating dog’s bark.
This is not where the humor stops, however, as it even has an extra special difficulty track called Wolf! difficulty, which is leagues above any other. From ludicrous speeds that not even a perfect tapping AI could hit to having the chart randomly change this speed to a snail’s pace, it can be a messy track for even the greatest masters to clear.
5
Majestic Magic
Bring A Speed Boost Potion
Those who can manage to even clear Majestic Magic deserve to be referred to as monarchs of rhythm games. This track has an unpredictable rhythm at 128 BPM, which requires a very high level of both skill and precision to hit the tight notes that are scattered in complex patterns.

Are you ready to dance around to the beat of the music in these musical rhythm games?
With the special effect of Extreme Speed Change, you won’t need to wonder why many of the notes feel frustratingly hard to hit. This track takes this effect to its limits by dramatically altering speeds like no other track, leading to near-impossible note timing that will mess you up even after hours of practice and will stand as a taxing test of skill.
4
Awakening Myth
Becoming A Rhythm Game Legend
Turn up the music and make sure you are focused, as Awakening Myth won’t go easy on you. This track is one of the most demanding as it scatters a ton of note bursts throughout a tiring 2:20 length. These bursts leave little time for you to take a break and require absolute precision, alongside mastery and knowledge of the chart and the song itself.
With abrupt feeling patterns and almost no time to recover your score, it’s easy to see how Awakening Myth pushes even the best of the best to their limits. Clearing this song is an achievement of its own right, as getting a full combo is near impossible unless you want to break your fingers trying.
3
Crazy Roulette
A Challenge No Matter What Level You Choose
If you want to be challenged on every single difficulty level (yes, even Easy), Crazy Roulette is the song for you. This track is one of the most difficult Hard tracks, compared to Expert and Special level tracks. You will end up wondering why it is classified at such a low level of difficulty after you tackle the mountain load of tricky hold and flick notes littered throughout.
On the hardest difficulty level of Special, this track has a rating of 30+ and even has the special effect of Speed Change, which can break any combo. Even at this level, this song feels way too challenging to be at only 30+, and it deserves to be in the ranks of the hardest songs purely because of how tricky it is at every skill level.
2
Vortex
A Note Hitting Nightmare
Some tracks will have you stumped as to why they are so difficult when they have low difficulty levels, but do not worry, this is not due to your lack of skill. This is demonstrated in Vortex’s Hard difficulty. This song is from the opening of the anime, Line Click, and features tough notes that will have you tapping and sliding with intense precision.

The main trick that makes this song one of the hardest is the rewind section right at the end. This not only rewinds the song but also rewinds the notes. They will start to come from the bottom of the screen, giving you very little time to react. This is only made worse by the song’s MV in the background, obscuring those already impossible to hit notes with its bright visuals.

Fallin’ In Love = It’s Wonderland
Skill Beyond Human Capabilities Required
There is no question as to which song is the hardest in all of Ensemble Stars when Fallin’ In Love = It’s Wonderland exists. This song’s Special difficulty was released on April Fools’ Day alongside many others as joke tracks. These tracks show that similar games’ hardest tracks, such as in Hatsune Miku: Colorful Stage! are nowhere near as challenging as this game is.
Fallin’ In Love = It’s Wonderland does everything it can to make sure you end up failing over and over. The track has a fast 169 BPM that not only features the special Extreme Speed Change effect but also has notes that lag intentionally and even come from the bottom of the screen. This ends up making for a song that even the most seasoned of rhythm game players will struggle with.
