Before the patch, Peni Parker’s mines would turn invisible after touching her Cyber-Webs, even if they landed outside the web itself. While her mines are supposed to be invisible within her webs, having them disappear outside the intended zone caused a lot of issues for players who moved into range without any indication that they might be in danger.
