For as long as the Assassin’s Creed games have been a thing, one of its most well-known bits of iconography is the classic white and red outfit, something that Assassin’s Creed Shadows‘ Naoe didn’t seem to have.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 requires your full attention, and I’m ready for something a little less intense.

While it’s true that Naoe doesn’t start off with the beloved classic outfit, you can actually unlock it for her as part of the game’s main story. Read on to find out where to get her Apprentice Assassin and Master Assassin costumes.

Unlocking Naoe’s version of the Assassin’s Creed uniform involves making your way through her personal stories, which you can find on the objective board. Once you’ve gone through four Kiji-Kuri missions, you’ll unlock a mission called Wolves and Foxes. This brief cutscene will have you meeting Hanzo Hattori and talking to him about his history with Naoe’s parents.

Once you’ve met Hanzo, you’ll unlock the mission called Secrets of the Blade, which has you investigating an old kofun that you might have actually already visited somewhere along your journey. That kofun can be found in Settsu as shown on the map above, but the bit you’re looking for is only accessible once you’ve unlocked this mission.

Head over to Settsu and go into the kofun and you’ll be told to explore it as part of the mission. While you can find a chest to loot like every other kofun, you want to keep following the mission marker’s blue dot, which will lead you to a secret room. You only need to interact with a journal while in this spot, but if you go to the left of the room you’ll find a dummy wearing an assassin outfit.

Interact with the dummy and Naoe will take the Epic outfit for herself. From there, you can wear it whenever you like to make things feel a little bit more Assassin’s Creed-y.

If you’ve got better armour you want to equip, remember you can apply whatever look you want by customising the armour in the inventory menu. You’ll need The Forge, but by this point in the game, you definitely should have that unlocked.

As great as the classic white and red assassin outfit is in Shadows, Naoe has one that’s even more special that you can unlock. To gain access to Naoe’s Master Assassin outfit, you’ll need to complete all of the game’s main assassination quests until the Shinbakfu is completely shut down.

Once you’ve done that, you’ll be in the epilogue section of the game, which gives you a few more objectives to do. You’ll need to complete Naoe’s personal stories, Yasuke’s personal stories, and Junjiro’s personal stories to unlock the final epilogue quest called Out of the Shadows. This mission just involves chatting to everyone at the Hideout, but it does end the game’s main story.

Once you’ve seen the final cutscene, Naoe will have her new Legendary Master Assassin outfit in her inventory and can equip it at any time. As much as I love the white and red design of the Apprentice Assassin outfit, it’s hard to argue that Naoe’s Master Assassin outfit is her best look in the game by far.
