Stardew Valley has a whole range of crops that players can cultivate on their virtual farms. Each of these has its own unique growing season, selling price, and uses. One of the best Summer crops in Stardew Valley is Starfruit, a sweet and tangy fruit shaped like a star. Starfruits grow from Starfruit Seeds, which are not available at Pierre’s General Store or JojaMart. As such, players will have to go out of their way to get Starfruit
Seeds in the game.

How To Get Starfruit Seeds in Stardew Valley
You can purchase Starfruit Seeds from Sandy
at the Oasis in exchange for 400 gold. The Oasis Shop is located in the Calico Desert and is open daily from 9:00 AM to 11:50 PM.
Alternatively, the Traveling Cart in Stardew Valley may occasionally sell Starfruit Seeds. This cart pops up in the Cindersap Forest on Fridays and Sundays. However, the stock is random, so it’s not a guaranteed method. You can also get one Starfruit Seed as a reward from Gunther at the Museum after donating 15 items.
Lastly, if you already have Starfruit, you can use the Seed Maker
to produce more Starfruit Seeds, but purchasing them directly from Sandy at the Oasis is more efficient for large-scale farming.
The crafting recipe for the Seed Maker is unlocked when you reach Farming Level 9. The more crops you plant and harvest, the faster your level will increase.
How To Use Starfruit Seeds in Stardew Valley
Once planted, Starfruit Seeds
grow into a mature Starfruit plant after 13 days of consistent watering during the Summer season. Starfruit is a highly prized crop with a variety of valuable uses.
However, the catch is that Starfruits do not continue to produce fruit. Once you harvest the Starfruit, the plant is finished and withers away. To grow more Starfruit, you must plant new Starfruit Seeds. This single-harvest nature means you’re constantly reinvesting in Starfruit Seeds.
Starfruits have a high selling price, ranging from 750 gold to 1,500 gold (for Iridium quality), making them one of the most expensive crops to sell in Stardew Valley. Not only that, you can process Starfruit in a Keg to make Starfruit Wine, which has an even higher selling price.
Starfruit’s sell price varies based on quality and your chosen profession. To maximize profits from Starfruit Wine, select the Tiller Profession at Farming Level 5, followed by the Artisan Profession at Level 10.
