As you might expect from an open-world Ubisoft game, Assassin’s Creed Shadows is absolutely packed with locations to discover, activities to take part in, and secrets to find. This means it can be a little hard to keep track of it all.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Has Prepared Me For Assassin’s Creed Shadows
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 requires your full attention, and I’m ready for something a little less intense.
One of the earliest collectible types you’ll be introduced to in Shadows is the Lost Pages, which Naoe will learn about towards the end of the prologue. You’ll find that Lost Pages can be extremely helpful to track down – here’s the best way to find them and what they do.
What Are Lost Pages?
Lost Pages are a type of collectible that can exclusively be found in Temples across Assassin’s Creed Shadows. We never learn exactly what they entail, but finding all of them in a Temple will reward the player with a Knowledge Point that goes towards their Knowledge Rank, allowing them to unlock more special moves in each character’s skill tree.
Temples with Lost Pages will be marked in orange on the world map, similarly to other activities that award Knowledge Points upon completion.
There are other ways to unlock Knowledge Points in Shadows, but finding Lost Pages is one of the easiest and most reliable, since you really just need to look around and platform a bit. It becomes especially reliable when you figure out the simplest way to locate the pages and save yourself some trouble.
How To Easily Find Lost Pages
The first thing you’re going to want to do when hunting for Lost Pages is play as Naoe. Almost every Lost Page in the game is hiding up on a roof or structure of some kind and, while Yasuke can reach most of them, it’s a much slower process than Naoe who can just use her grappling hook most of the time.
When playing as Naoe, head over to any Temple that you haven’t found Lost Pages in yet and simply hold down LT on Xbox and L2 on PlayStation to Observe the area. This mechanic lets you see things you’re looking for and marks points of interest as white or blue dots in your vision.
Lost Pages are always marked as white dots in the area, so all you need to do is Observe, spot those dots, and then head over to pick the Lost Page up. You’ll find that some Temples are a bit bigger than others and have the Pages hiding a little better, but if that’s the case then you should just head to a rooftop and Observe from there. With those tips in mind, finding Lost Pages is a breeze.
It’s rare, but some of the Temples containing Lost Pages are guarded by enemies and are a little dangerous to explore. You’ll definitely want to stick to the rooftops for those.
