Legacy Paths, newly introduced for Civilization 7, serve as “main quests” for the game and act as the key to achieving the different victory types the game has to offer. In each Age players have access to one Legacy Path for each of the following strategies: Military, Economic, Scientific, Cultural. Completing these will earn you bonuses in future ages (or, in the Modern Age, act as a vital step towards one of the victory types.)
Non Sufficit Orbis is the Military Legacy Path in Civilization 7‘s Age of Exploration, tasking players with establishing and conquering settlements in Distant Lands to earn points. Offering double points for conquered settlements, and doubling them again if the settlement follows your religion, Non Sufficit Orbis encourages you to play more aggressively and take over settlements in strategic positions to claim the limited space in the Distant Lands.

How to Complete Non Sufficit Orbis in Civilization 7
In order to complete Non Sufficit Orbis, you’ll need to earn 12 points by settling or conquering settlements in Distant Lands. While this sounds like a lot, you’ll get double points for conquering a settlement, or if the settlement follows your religion. Both of these effects stack, which makes spreading your religion and strengthening your military (the navy especially) crucial to success. Controlling even three conquered settlements that follow your religion would instantly fulfill the requirements, for example.
Certain Religious Beliefs, especially Millenarianism, will make it much easier to get the point multiplier here. If you can’t snag Millenarianism as an Enhancer Belief, you should get Conversion instead so you can start all of your own settlements off on the right foot and then spread it to the settlements you’re planning to conquer from there.
Naval units are especially important when attempting Non Sufficit Orbis, since the Distant Lands are typically made up of smaller islands surrounded by water, and many of the settlements established there will be coastal. This means that Naval Units will often have much more flexibility and utility when attempting to Conquer Settlements in Distant Lands. Prioritize technologies (Cartography, Astronomy, and Shipbuilding, for example) and civics that will empower your navy and allow you to move units more efficiently across water when navigating the Distant Lands.
