Following on from the TCG Pocket hype, Digimon fans now have something to celebrate, as a mobile version of the Digimon TCG has been revealed, titled Digimon Alysion.
Digimon Alysion Is A Mobile Version Of The Trading Card Game
Announced a few short hours ago, Digimon Alysion is bringing the popular trading card game to mobile. The title is set to be free-to-play, of course, including in-app purchases, and will be released on both iOS and Android devices.
The trailer appears to indicate that Alysion will feature a female lead cast and will combine story and monster-raising elements with the digital card game.
During the video, we get a brief look at three new characters, Kanata Hondo, Futre, and Valner Dragnogh, alongside a brand new Digimon, Gemmon.
Outside of the trailer, limited details of the game have been shared, but Gematsu reports that the game will feature new cards, new characters, and new Digimon, and a closed beta test will be available at some point in the future.
Unfortunately, as of right now, there is no release date for Digimon Alysion, but a flashy new website has been created, which you can use to keep an eye on things.
The announcement of Digimon Alysion is the second opportunity Digimon fans have had to get excited over the last few months. In December, at The Game Awards, Digimon Story: Time Stranger was announced. The new RPG is set for release later this year and invites players to “Take on a mission to uncover the mystery of the world’s collapse, where chance encounters with unique characters will shape your journey across time and parallel worlds – and change fate itself.”
