Spring is just around the corner, and once again, a new anime season awaits. Crunchyroll revealed their full Spring 2025 anime line-up on Wednesday, with over 30 new, returning and continuing anime titles set to make their way to the platform.
Among them, some of the most notable of the upcoming titles that will be simulcast on Crunchyroll as they air in Japan include My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, Fire Force Season 3, the second season of Wind Breaker, The Beginning After the End, Black Butler -Emerald Witch Arc-, Witch Watch, Anne Shirley and To Be Hero X. The first Spring 2025 anime is set to broadcast on March 30.

New Anime Coming to Crunchyroll in Spring 2025
EMT Squared Producing the Most Titles Of Any Studio This Spring
The Spring 2025 anime season begins on March 30, with the various titles kicking off all the way through to the second week of April. Among the new titles coming to the platform this Spring, the anime adaptations of Kenta Shinohara’s Witch Watch and Hideyuki Furuhashi and Betten Court’s My Hero Academia spin-off are some of the most anticipated new titles of the season. Interestingly, the studio behind the Winter 2025 title, I Want to Escape from Princess Lessons, EMT Squared, is producing at least three of the Spring 2025 anime titles; the most of any anime studio this season.
March 30
The inaugural title of the Spring 2025 anime season is The Unaware Atelier Meister, produced by EMT Squared, a fantasy anime that follows Kurt Rockhans, a kindhearted errand boy for a hero’s party known as the Flaming Dragon Fang. After being banished from the party one day and learning that he has the lowest combat rank, he starts picking up odd jobs to make a living, coming to discover that he has absolutely broken abilities. Unbeknownst to him, Kurt actually possesses SSS-Rank Skills in everything but fighting. Dubs for The Unaware Atelier Meister include English, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and German.
April 1
Two new anime produced by the aforementioned EMT Squared will premiere on April Fool’s Day:
- Once Upon a Witch’s Death follows Meg Raspberry, a witch apprentice who finds out on her 17th birthday that, Faust, her magic teacher and Perennial Witch of the Seven Sages, is slowly dying due to the effects of a curse: the Death Sentence. The only way to stop the Death Sentence curse is to create the Seed of Life, a gargantuan task that requires anyone crazy enough to attempt it to collect tears of joy from 1000 people and gain eternal life. The series will also stream in English.
- Murata goes to the local baseball stadium temporarily to escape from his tiring job in Catch Me at the Ballpark!, but it isn’t just the thrilling matches that make him a regular, but Ruriko, the gyaru with a demeanour as icy as the beer she serves, is what really keeps Murata coming back. He soon discovers the sweetheart beneath the icy exterior in their heartwarming encounters which have the potential to grow into something more.
April 2
- The anime adaptation of TurtleMe’s webnovel series, The Beginning After the End, follows King Grey, reborn as Arthur Leywin on the magical continent of Dicathen after dying under mysterious circumstances. Despite starting life from scratch, he retains his memories from his previous life, as well as his wisdom, using his new life as a chance to correct the mistakes of his past. The series is produced by staff at studio A-CAT (Highspeed Etoile) and will be dubbed in English and French.
- TROYCA, the studio behind the reverse isekai original anime series, Re:CREATORS, presents The Too-Perfect Saint: Tossed Aside by My Fiancé and Sold to Another Kingdom, a fantasy anime which follows Philia, a young woman who hails from a family that has been renowned for generations for producing Saints in the Kingdom of Girtonia. Saints fight to protect humankind from monsters, and Philia underwent rigorous education and training to earn her title. After her fiancé, Julius, breaks off their engagement, Philia is sold to the kingdom of Parnacorta, but will her homeland survive without her?
- Please Put Them On, Takamine-san by LIDENFILMS plays around with time-travel as the popular A+ student and president of the student council, Takane Takamine, is hiding quite the secret. One day, the friendless Koushi Shirota accidentally discovers Takane’s secret: the ability to go back in time and alter past actions just by changing her lingerie. The discovery inevitably brings him into her world, and he is pestered into helping Takane by becoming her personal wardrobe.

The Brilliant Healer’s New Life in the Shadows by Makaria (production cooperation, Weathering With You) is a medical fantasy about a man named Zenos, a self-taught healer from the slums, who was branded “useless”, turns despair into defiance and opens a secret clinic in the city’s shadows. With unlicensed, unmatched magic, he cures, comforts, and rights wrongs, quietly becoming a legend. But as his power grows, even the royal palace takes notice. Can he buck the odds and heal a world that cast him aside? The series will be dubbed in English, Latin American Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese.
April 4
Can a Boy-Girl Friendship Survive? by J.C.STAFF (Bakuman) follows childhood BFFs Himari and Yu, whose friendship is tested when Yu reunites with his first crush in high school. Himari, who’s never known the fuzzy warmth of a crush, now must confront her feelings.
April 5
- The highly anticipated ambitious blending of 2D and 3D animation, To Be Hero X, is produced by Chinese animation studio BeDream and comes from Haolin, the mind that gave us Link Click. The series is set in a world where outstanding heroes are applauded, and “trust” creates superheroes. If people believe “he can fly,” he will gain the ability to fly. Conversely, even if a hero has special powers, loss of trust will result in a loss of those powers. This trust is collected as data, with the heroes’ ranking constantly changing depending on the value, with a hero tournament held once every two years among the top heroes. The hero who stands above the others at the end of the tournament is granted the title of “X”. The series will be dubbed in English, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, and German.
- Anime continues to draw from literature as a brand-new series based on the novel Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery hits the air this April. Anne Shirley is a brand-new animated look at the literary classic, which was first adapted into an anime series in 1979 by Nippon Animation. The story is set on the beautiful Prince Edward Island in Canada, where an orphan named Anne Shirley is mistakenly sent to Green Gables, the home of Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert. They adopt her anyway, and Anne finds friendship, love, and happiness in her new home. Dubs include English, Latin American Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese.
- GUILTY GEAR STRIVE: DUAL RULERS by SANZIGEN, the studio also working on the upcoming anime adaptation of Shu Sakuratani’s Rooster Fighter, follows Sin Kiske, the forbidden child of a human and a magically crafted biological weapon called a Gear, who lives in a world scarred by the Gear rebellion; where magic has replaced science. Attending his parents’ taboo-breaking wedding, he encounters a mysterious girl with a deep hatred for Gears, and their fateful meeting threatens to upend the world once again.
- I’m the Evil Lord of an Intergalactic Empire! produced by Quad, the studio behind Winter 2025’s I’m Living with an Otaku NEET Kunoichi!?, is a story of reincarnation. After a life of honesty left him betrayed, Liam is reborn into a vast interstellar empire with one goal: to be the galaxy’s worst tyrant. But no matter how hard he tries, his “wicked” plans keep backfiring into peace, prosperity, and adoring fans. The series will also have a German dub.
- Classic★Stars by Platinum Vision is set at Gloria Private Academy, where stars are born. In this institution’s prestigious music department, students who match the talent of legendary musicians inherit their gifts and names. Trading his gloves for melodies, Beethoven steps into a world where notes hit harder than fists, determined to win the ultimate competition.

- WITCH WATCH by 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, REALLY Love You production house Bibury Animation Studio follows Morihito Otogi, a high schooler with the strength of an ogre. Life is peaceful until his childhood friend and witch-in-training, Nico Wakatsuki, moves in, excited about their reunion. She turns Morihito into her familiar, and now he must focus on his mission: to protect Nico from danger. WITCH WATCH will be dubbed in English.
- The Gorilla God’s Go-To Girl, which follows Sophia, a timid daughter of a count who just wanted a peaceful life, but the Gorilla God had other plans. Blessed with unmatched strength, she’s thrust into the Royal Knight Order, turning her quiet days into chaos. Now, she must juggle school, the knight life, and her overwhelming power. The series is produced by Isekai Cheat Magician studio Kachigarasu. Dubs include English, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, and German.

- The newly established BONES Film expands the My Hero Academia animated universe with the Vigilantes spin-off, which follows college student Koichi Haimawari, who once aspired to become a hero but has long given up on that dream. Despite the fact that 80% of the world’s population has some kind of superhuman trait called a “Quirk”, very few can actually become professional heroes. - Summer Pockets by feel. is an adaptation of the 2018 visual novel of the same name produced by Key and written by Jun Maeda (Angel Beats!). It follows Hairi Takahara, who is sent to Torishirojima to sort through his late grandmother’s belongings and is met with endless sea, quiet nostalgia, and mysterious girls, each chasing something just out of reach. As he settles into island life, lost memories begin to surface, and he finds what he never knew he’d lost.
- #COMPASS2.0 ANIMATION PROJECT is an anime set in a game, produced by Lay-duce, the studio behind Tomo-chan Is a Girl!. In the combat providence analysis system, “COMPASS2.0,” heroes gather alongside human partners in a dreamlike space. The heroes have to keep fighting to produce enough energy to keep the system running. One hero named 13 is a troublemaker who refuses to find a partner. When he is nearly kicked out, a new player named Jin agrees to join him. Can they bring peace to the world of #COMPASS2.0?

The Shiunji Family Children by Oshi no Ko studio Doga Kobo follows the titular characters, a family with seven children that reside in a mansion within Tokyo’s Setagaya Ward. The eldest son, Arata, is tired of being pushed around by his five sisters and daydreams of a life without them. That is, until Arata’s father reveals a shocking truth—Arata isn’t biologically related to them! The series will be dubbed in English, Latin American Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese.

A Ninja and an Assassin Under One Roof follows Konoha Koga, a young woman who, on the way home from school one day, rescues Satoko Kusagakure, a ninja who escaped her village. Soon, pursuers from the village show up in search of Satoko, only to be deftly dealt with by Konoha, who turns out to be an assassin. The two decide to live together as roommates, starting the cutthroat cohabitation of two different denizens of the underworld.
April 11
Humans fight to protect their land from invading demi-human tribes in relentless battles in Asahi Production’s Teogonia. As his world is engulfed by intense warfare, Kai, a village boy from Lag, joins the fight to defend all he knows. After Kai’s comrades fall one by one, and he’s injured, he suddenly recalls memories from another life. The series will have an English dub.

- mono by the relatively new animation studio, Soigné, follows Satsuki Amamiya, a member of his school’s photography club who is down in the dumps after the club president graduated from high school. However, her best friend and fellow member An Kiriyama encourages Satsuki to dedicate herself to the newly merged Cinephoto Club.

WIND BREAKER returns with season 2, and Sakura’s idea of what it means to be at the top has begun to change. After making new friends and encountering new enemies in his time at Furin High School, he has gained some perspective. Now, he stands tall as a Grade Captain, fighting to protect others as he continues his journey from delinquent to legend.

- Shinra and the team are about to uncover the world’s greatest secret in Fire Force season 3, which has been announced to be a split-cours.
