There are a whole lot of items in each of these areas as well, with many of them not found anywhere else.

One of those items is the Bulky Treasure. Hard to find and even harder to get to spawn in the first place, it’s a helpful little item to get your hands on. So here’s where you can find, and what you can do with it once you finally get your hands on it.
How To Get Bulky Treasure
Bulky Treasure can only be found in the Scarlet Forest, one of the Rarity 6 Special Items needed for the Explorer of the Eastlands achievement. It is related to the Sparkly and Shiny Treasure items, but cannot be found in the regular Weathered Treasure gathering points. Instead, it only spawns during a special event.
For Bulky Treasure to appear, you must wait for the Bountiful Treasure Emergence to occur, which generates gathering points in the Scarlet Forest by the same name. To be even more precise, this event can only happen during the Plenty, so keep resting in a camp until you reach that period. Eventually, the Bountiful Treasure Emergence event should occur at the same time.
Make sure to check the Environment Overview tab of the map as well to check the upcoming events for the next hour. The event you’re waiting for could be just a few minutes wait away.
Once the Bountiful Treasure Emergence event occurs, all you have to do is head to the location shown on the map to pick it up. This can be seen by either scrolling through the filters until you find it, or selecting the event on the map. Bountiful Treasure gathering points, and other event-based materials, do not respawn after a 15-minute wait, so make sure to have the Geologist skill equipped.
Uses For Bulky Treasure
After getting lucky enough to gather up some Bulky Treasures after all that waiting and resting, you should start turning them into treasures of your own. While you could always sell them for a little bit of zenny, they have a more valuable use than that. Bulky Treasure can be used in Item Trading.
You don’t even have to travel far. Bulky Treasure can be traded with Musharpeye of the Wudwud Hideout. He has quite a few items available from the Scarlet Forest, from Uth Duna Cilia+ and Lala Barina Mucus+, to Delishrooms and Great Hornflies. The latter of these items are hard to find by any other means too, making Bulky Treasures that much more valuable.
As always, make sure to activate a Gathering Boost in advance of trading to give you double the possible items from your trade for the same price.
