Assassin’s Creed Shadows features two important point systems within its skill tree mechanic. The first, Mastery Points, is a typical skill point earned through experience. The second point system is based around Knowledge tiers, which dictate the skills that are currently available to unlock. There are a variety of ways to get Knowledge Points, but one of the most common is through the finding of Lost Pages at temples. In this guide, we’ll be exploring where to find all three Lost Pages at the Tennouji Temple in Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

Where to Find the Tennouji Temple in Assassin’s Creed Shadows
The Tennouji Temple is located in the Osaka province of Izumi Settsu, the first major area Naoe can explore. It is very easy to stumble across during exploration, and will very likely be the first major temple you visit after the prologue. However, you must be careful, as Tennouji Temple is not an abandoned ruin as many of the Temples in AC Shadows are. There is a large band of outlaws who call Tennouji Temple home, and you must take them out, or navigate through them, to collect the Lost Pages.
Tennouji Temple offers the perfect opportunity to familiarize yourself with both the Observation and Eagle Vision mechanics. There is no need to storm into the temple and take the enemy head on. Take your time, and work through the structures and main courtyard methodically. Naoe is a formidable warrior, but she can be taken out fairly quickly.
Tennouji Temple Lost Pages – Assassin’s Creed Shadows
There are three Lost Pages spread out around Tennouji Temple, and while they will come up as a white dot when using the Observation mechanic, the temple’s layout, and the various enemies, and make it a bit tricky to locate them all. The pages are found in the following locations:
There is a Codex Node that is found at the southern end of the courtyard that appears the same as a Lost Page through Observation. While you may want to collect this, you’ll likely have to face enemies to do so. It can easily trick players into thinking it’s a Lost Page, so make sure you know what it is before going after it.
Lost Page 1:
The first lost page is located outside the main temple wall on the northeast side of the structure, just before the northeast corner. If you walk north outside the eastern wall, you’ll find the first page in the bowl at the base of a Jizo statue.
Lost Page 2:
To get to the second Lost Page, you’ll want to enter the structure in the southeast corner of the courtyard through the broken hole in the roof, and collect the page from the corner of the room you drop into.
You can avoid combat entirely if you head south along the eastern wall from the first Lost Page, and use the ramp that leads to bamboo scaffolding to get over the wall. This will put you directly in front of the desired structure, making the collection of Lost Page 2 a breeze.
Lost Page 3:
The final Lost Page is a bit trickier to find, as its location makes it easy to miss amidst the enemies and loot. It is located in the northwest corner of the courtyard, past multiple enemies. It is sitting inside a hollowed-out tree trunk, right up against the corner of the courtyard. There is an enemy sitting on the ground just in front of it. Crawl into the tree to collect the final page.
Once you have all three Lost Pages, you’ll be rewarded with a Knowledge Point, and be one step closer to the next Knowledge Tier.
