Despite its reputation, Roblox is a great place to play some pretty fun and unique games. And the best part? It’s a great place for budding developers to practice their game-building skills. The Roblox Creator Hub is extremely beginner-friendly, and there are plenty of tutorials out there to help any developer.

This Creator Hub has given us some interesting games with wonderful concepts. And while we love seeing them get the love they deserve among Roblox users, these games deserve to have their platform for a wider audience to enjoy. Here are just some games that should have a full release on their platform.

Squid Game

Based on the popular Netflix series of the same name, Squid Game puts players in the shoes of a game player looking to win their 4.56 million South Korean won. Put on your green tracksuit and get ready to play for your life. Each game features the iconic children’s games from the TV show from both seasons that are out so far.

There’s the iconic Red Light, Green Light game, Dalgona, Tug of War, Marbles, the glass bridge, six legs, and the final showdown in Squid Game. There are also times at night when the lights go out, and you must survive the night. Hopefully, this gets an update once season three comes out.

Dinosaur Simulator

While there are certainly plenty of dinosaur simulators out there, there’s something so charming about Roblox’s version. It’s pretty straightforward: you live as a dinosaur, have to choose between the different classes of omnivore, carnivore, and herbivores, and hunt for prey or defend yourself from predators.

While the other games on this list are expansive and have some world-building to them, Dinosaur Simulator is a great game to just turn on and play without much investment. But that doesn’t make it any less fun. And the best part about this game is bringing in your friends to play together and create packs to survive against other players.

Rise Of Nations is a real-time strategy-based game where you run and manage a territory. To grow your region, you must conquer enemy territory, utilizing your military to take resources and shape the map with your influence.

Choose your nation and declare wars, form alliances, and develop your economy. You can also choose from different historical empires, like the Soviet Union, or create your own. It’s not too complex, which is great compared to other real-time strategy games, and it should be shown to a wider audience outside of the Roblox community.

Centaura

For a Roblox game, Centaura has an extremely expansive world and wonderful in-depth graphics. In the continent of Centaura, laws are practically nonexistent, and conflict runs rampant in the community. But with one last war, perhaps the tides could change.

Centaura acts as a prequel to another Roblox game, Dead Ahead, which is focused on the great war between the armies of Antares and the Hydran continent. While Dead Ahead focuses on the fictional Foreman War, Centaura tells how the Antares military gained control over the Centauran continent. This is a great first-person shooter with military tactics that leaves you fully engrossed in this fictional war.

Scuba Diving At Quill Lake

If you’re a fan of the exploring elements behind Subnautica but hate the horror element, you’ll love Scuba Diving At Quill Lake. With a vast open-world element, there are plenty of secrets to uncover. Set as an exploration game, you explore a small lake, trying to search for valuables to sell.

The atmosphere is incredible, and the game gives you various unlockables, like fun costumes, to help you unlock more areas to uncover and elevate your gameplay experience. As previously mentioned, there are so many secrets in each area. Unfortunately, this game is now discontinued and isn’t expected to receive any updates, which makes it perfect for a full release outside of Roblox servers.

There aren’t many cozy games offered in Roblox, so if you’re looking for one that you can just put on and melt your worries away, Warm Isolation is the best game to play. And it’s better to enjoy it with your friends.

In this casual game, you and other players simply sit inside a room to sit back and enjoy or do minor activities together. It acts as a life simulator in a way; you can eat pizza, take a shower, interact with the animals, etc. And the more time you spend in the room, the more your money adds up every second, which you can use to buy and decorate your room with various items.

Life Of An Otaku

Taking place in rural Japan, Life Of An Otaku follows an unnamed man who is forced back into his parents’ house after a devastating death and decides to fix it up. He then reflects on his childhood and regrets.

Originally, the game was built as a simple house with various anime posters plastered on the walls, going with the theme of an otaku. But in July 2016, the game was revamped to include a short story with exploration elements of the house, and finally, in 2018, the story was fully fledged out to include acts, new areas, and brand-new gameplay. It’s a beautiful game with an even more heartbreaking story about loss and acceptance.

Neon Knights

In a desolate world of Walls, robots rule the land. As a knight, you must battle your way to the core, explore the highly detailed regions, and stock up on the various weapons that lie around.

This role-playing game with roguelike elements is a very fun twist on the dungeon game genre. It includes an overhead view where you dodge enemy attacks with your dash and beat up everything in your path. The atmosphere is charming, and it’s surprisingly challenging due to the ‘dungeons’ in the game being divided into multiple singular areas where you progress to the next after beating the enemies.

Super Doomspire

Super Doomspire is a brand new remastered version of the classic Roblox game, Doomspire Brickbattle, which was first created in 2017. The original version included four different colored towers floating above a void, each being home to a different team that must compete against each other and knock down all enemy spires.

In the remastered version, there are plenty of new features that improve the experience. There are plenty of new maps to explore, updated graphics, and a new in-game currency called Crowns that can be spent in the shop to buy various new items.

To quote the glorious Glen Powell, “If you feel it, chase it!” Twisted is based on the art of storm chasing, similar to the blockbuster movies Twister and Twisters.

In the fictional Midwestern town Keysota, you play as an experienced storm chaser. It’s an interesting game due to the various features it has. Not only are there different towns to visit on the expansive map, but it also features a long list of appropriate storm-chasing vehicles, all decked out with state-of-the-art technology like a radar to track the storms and thermodynamics data. And the storm animation is insane to watch.
