The Antimite is a special item in the game that has two rarer variants: Fine Antimite and Antimite Mass. These two items are a lot more difficult to gather compared to the regular Antimite, but if you know how to look for them, you’ll be able to find enough to fulfill all your needs.
Where To Find Fine Antimite And Antimite Mass
While you can get regular Antimite from any Hopper Crystal Ore node on the map, to get Fine Antimite and Antimite Mass, you’ll have to wait for the Giant Hopper Crystal Emergence event in the Oilwell Basin Area.
For Antimite Mass, you can easily gather this item from the Giant Hopper Crystal nodes that spawn during the Giant Hopper Crystal Emergence event. The Giant Hopper Crystal nodes are represented by a blue question mark icon on the map, and they usually spawn in Area 14 of the Oilwell Basin region.
If you’re having trouble getting the Giant Hopper Crystal Emergence event to show up, you can rest in the tent repeatedly until the event shows up in the Environment Forecast. Resting in the tent resets the environment, but costs 300 Guild Points.
Getting Fine Antimite is a lot more difficult. This special item can be gathered from regular Hopper Crystal Ore nodes during the Giant Hopper Crystal Emergence event, but the chances of it appearing are very rare.
The Hopper Crystal Ore nodes that are going to yield Fine Antimite are sparkling, and you can easily spot them from a distance.
You can easily find most Hopper Crystal Ore nodes in Area 11 and Area 14 of the Oilwell Basin region to gather Fine Antimite. You can set up a Pop-Up Camp in Area Nine and teleport to it. Area 11 is right next to it and has three Hopper Crystal Ore nodes.
How To Use Fine Antimite And Antimite Mass
Fine Antimite and Antimite Mass can be used to trade with Dogard inside the Azuz village in the Oilwell Basin area. Both of these items can be used to trade for items, such as the Azuz Tanned Leather, and cooking ingredients, such as the Turbid Shrimp. At times, Dogard may also offer rare monster items in exchange for these rarer versions of Antimite, such as the Nu Udra Cerebrospinal Fluid, which is a rare item that can be obtained while destroying open wounds on a Nu Udra or as a reward for completing a Nu Udra hunt.
You can also access Dogard’s item trading via Nata in any base camp, which will save you the trouble of manually going to Azuz and locating him.
