Amazon and Walmart have restocked Lego Indiana Jones: Temple of the Golden Idol. The 1,545-piece set recreates the legendary opening from Raiders of the Lost Ark. Though neither retailer is offering a discount, this particular Indiana Jones set was sold out all throughout the holidays and is no longer carried at most retailers.
Renewed interest in the franchise stemming from Indiana Jones and the Great Circle probably moved some units, but the main reason why it’s tricky to find is that Lego discontinued it late last year. Amazon and Walmart occasionally restock retired sets to clear out remaining units. Once both retailers sell out, it’s very likely that Temple of the Golden Idol will only be available through resellers going forward.

Directly inspired by the opening sequence of Raiders of the Lost Ark, you’ll get a model comprised of various sections of the temple Indy investigates in the opening minutes. There aren’t any snakes, but there are four minifigures–Indiana Jones, Satipo, Belloq, and a Hovitos Warrior–traps, interactive features, and a massive boulder for that added touch of authenticity.
Just make sure you clear enough space on your display shelf, as the finished build is 20 inches long, 8 inches tall, and 7 inches wide.

Speaking of Lego sets that have been sold out for months, the awesome Transformers Optimus Prime is back in stock at Amazon. Better yet, Lego Optimus Prime is on sale for $144 (was $180).
The 1,508-piece Autobot leader has 19 points of articulation and stands 13.5 inches tall. Most importantly, it actually transforms into a 10.5-inch truck. Lego Optimus Prime leans heavily into the character’s G1 aesthetics.
Transformers fans can pair Optimus Prime with the smaller 950-piece Bumblebee Lego set for $90. Just like Optimus, Bumblebee can transform into a vehicle.
