KONAMI’s eFootball 2025 brought to us the International Cup Qualifiers Campaign, and what is heavily discussed as of now is the free Selection Contract. Five double booster cards, five great picks. But still, who is the best pick is something that is bothering the fans.
With five great options on the table, the choice can come down to different factors, whether it’s playstyle, team fit, or a unique Show Time ability. But let’s be real, not all players are equal.
Based on their other card versions, current builds, and overall stats, I’ll be breaking down the eFootball 2025 Show Time National Teams Selection Contract picks in this guide.
We have five players in the Selection Contract, from which you can pick one. Here’s a review of them all.
Serge Gnabry
- Position: RMF
- Playing Style: Cross Specialist
- Showtime Skill: Edged Crossing
Gnabry looks like a quick, agile winger who can glide past defenders. Surprisingly, those numbers aren’t pumping up to the high 90s. His dribbling and tight control should make him a threat on the flanks, those are great.
With the playstyle and Show Time skill of Edged Crossing, it surely is a deadly combo. He also looks capable of cutting inside and finishing chances himself. I’ve used his base version before, and I’m not a fan of how bad the physicality of this card is, which is the same in this case.
Alessandro Bastoni
- Position: CB
- Playing Style: Build Up
- Showtime Skill: Fortress
Bastoni looks like a composed defender who focuses on positioning rather than aggressive tackles, even though the latter is high. His passing from the back should help with build-up play, ideal if you love to play from the back. Looks strong in duels, decent in the air, and needs Aerial Superiority skill added.
Defensive numbers are good, speed if you can pump it up to 85 at max level is also that sweet spot of things. I don’t see any weakness here, and since this card is a Build Up, the experience of my previous Extra Frontman cards would be different.
Randal Kolo Muani
- Position: CF
- Playing Style: Goal Poacher
- Showtime Skill: Phenomenal Finishing
Kolo Muani looks like a striker who relies on movement and pace to create chances. His off-the-ball runs should make him a threat in counterattacks, and he seems a decent dribbler too. I’ve played with his base version before, and he felt quick but sluggish.
His finishing may not be top-tier, but with the Phenomenal Finishing skill, surely expect a buff. Heading isn’t his forte, but if you prefer speed and movement, he could work well. For counterattacking playstyles, he looks like a solid forward with decent physicality.
Sofyan Amrabat
- Position: DMF
- Playing Style: Box To Box
- Showtime Skill: Visionary Pass
Amrabat looks like a strong, hard-working midfielder built for defensive duties. His ball-winning ability should make him effective at breaking up attacks, those numbers at auto-build are better than some CBs. Passing is also good and has enough speed to cover ground.
I’ve used his base version before, and while he wasn’t flashy, he did the job well. The Box-to-Box playstyle is something I’m not a fan of, so you need to stick some defensive instructions to make him stay in the defensive line.
Hwang Hee-Chan
- Position: CF
- Playing Style: Dummy Runner
- Showtime Skill: Phenomenal Pass
A confusing card for me from KONAMI, but he isn’t as bad as many claim to be. Hee-Chan has an interesting profile here. A Dummy Runner Show Time card is pretty rare, and those numbers are also, kind of different. Yes, he is quick at CF, but try him as an SS with a similar build, that’s where you’ll get the best of him.
That passing definitely cannot be fixed so sadly that Show Time skill he has, I don’t feel it would be that effective. He doesn’t seem like the most physical player, but again you can improve on that aspect with a few progression point changes. Overall, this card is great leaving aside the weaknesses.
Alright, I get it, this is a tricky section. All five players bring something unique to the table, and since their playstyles and roles differ, it’s not easy to single out the best pick.
If you’re choosing based on squad needs, then it’s straightforward, you already know the position you’re looking to strengthen, so you’ll naturally go for the player that fits. But if you’re just picking a card without a specific role in mind, then things get a little more complicated.
In that case, I might just have an answer for you. Below are my rankings of the five cards.

I really see value in both Bastoni and Hee-Chan, both cards are strong picks, and even though the latter might not be flashy, I can see him fitting the Muller role pretty neatly. Rest three are decent, but not so game-changing in my opinion.
