Summary
- Level up Henry to increase charisma through perks and wardrobe options.
- Choose Brocade Hood, Hunting Cap, Burgher Coat for highest charisma.
- Don Noble Boots and Leminger’s Spectacles as accessories for a complete charisma outfit.
When you’re first set loose after finishing the tutorial in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Henry may as well have negative charisma. He smells, he has barely any clothes, and all of his stats are drained. While you’re introduced to the concept of skill checks in conversations, you might as well ignore them since you’re practically guaranteed to fail all of them at this point.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 – 8 Best Early-Game Side Quests
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has some great side quests, but these are the best early on.
But as you slowly build Henry up throughout the game, you’ll eventually make him a more charismatic hero. You’ll unlock perks, have access to temporary buffs, but most importantly, you’ll have a much bigger wardrobe. So, out of all the clothes Henry can pick from, which are the best for his charisma?
10
Brocade Hood
Hood
Considering how many layers of clothing you can equip on your head (thanks to the different pieces needed for a helmet), it’s sometimes easy for a simple hood to get lost in the mix. While you might want these to be as dark and dingey as possible if you’re looking for stealth, you’ll want something much more luxurious if you want to be charismatic.
The best hood available for Henry’s charisma is the Brocade hood, named after the impressive lining that each of these hoods have. Make sure to shop around, since some Brocade Hoods will have slightly better charisma than others, but these differences are usually minor enough that you can just choose the colour you like the best.
9
Hunting Cap
Cap
Usually the best way to tell if Henry is wearing his charisma outfit preset or his armor preset is to look at the top of his head. If you’re in your armor, you’ll probably be wearing a helmet to protect our hero’s noggin, but if you’re looking to impress in conversations, something with more flair is needed.
Most of the high-quality charisma caps have a similarly high charisma stat. Because of this, you can switch based on preference. One of the best options if you’re looking for your cap to be a little easier to match with the rest of your outfit, then the Hunting Cap is a more subtle choice.
8
Padded Collar
Collar
Even though it’ll nearly always be hidden under multiple layers of clothing, clearly the NPCs in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 are aware that Henry is wearing a collar under all those layers, and even more intuitively, they can tell how high-quality it is as well.
While it’s far from the best collar defensively, if you want to go the extra mile for Henry, you can switch out an armored collar for the Padded Collar instead. Perhaps the choice to sacrifice his armor for comfort is a sign of nobility, but either way, make sure to keep hold of these collars even when you get a hold of their armored counterparts.
7
Burgher Coat
Coat
Like hoods and caps, there are plenty of charismatic options for Henry when it comes to his coat. The style that will give you the most options, as well as the best charisma, is the Burgher Coat.
While it might not be that impressive when you try it on in the store (or rob it from a poor tailor), once you actually see it in movement, the details look fantastic. With luxurious embroidery that catches the light, an impractical series of buttons, and a host of colour options to let you match with the rest of the look, it’s a clear winner.
6
Cuirass With Falds
Body Plate
While the under-layers of Henry’s armor are usually not fully visible except for perhaps bulging under the rest of his clothes, they can still have a pretty big impact on his charisma. One of the most expensive pieces of armor that will have a big impact on your charisma is your body plate.
While the Cuirass With Falds is the most charismatic body plate available for Henry, these pieces of armor are so heavy. Because of this, it’s usually preferable to just equip the cuirass you’re using for your armor instead of keeping a dedicated charisma cuirass on hand, since the difference usually isn’t that noticeable.
5
Noble Laminar Sleeves And Nuremberg Gauntlets
Sleeves And Gloves
Unlike the head and the body, and even the legs, there aren’t too many charismatic options when it comes to dressing Henry’s arms. For the most part, your arms will be covered by your body pieces, and there aren’t many charismatic pairs of gloves to fill the space either.
Because of this, instead of seeking out the most charismatic arm-wear, you’ll get great results by just equipping some high-quality armor to the slot instead. The top options for this are the Noble Laminar Sleeves and the Nuremberg Gauntlets, but as long as they’re clean and not low-quality, this slot isn’t too important.
4
Gartered Hose
Hose
While trousers can often be one of the more boring slots for customization in other games, you’ll get some quite creative options for this category in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. With all of the multi-colored and luxurious hoses Henry has to choose from, keep an eye out for Gartered Hose in particular.
While you might assume that these hoses are well-respected because of the colourful dye that was used, it’s actually because of the garters. Garters were in fact only worn by nobles, and the sock-suspenders were a clear class indicator.
3
Noble Boots
Shoes
By the time you’ve scrolled through what is probably a full inventory of armor, you can easily forget about your shoes and just throw on whatever you’ve been wearing and call it a day. But if you’re looking to complete the best charisma outfit possible, then you’ll want to seek out the Noble Boots.
While these high-quality leather boots are available at some vendors, you’ll often find a more battered alternative if you ever come across dead nobles in the open world. So, as long as you have a Cobbler’s Kit, you can save buying them new and get the same results with some DIY.
2
Rowel Spurs
Spurs
In the first Kingdom Come: Deliverance, it’s a big moment for Henry when he’s gifted Pebbles, and this is because having a horse was seen as a sign of wealth, since their upkeep was (and still is) a hefty expense.
While Henry can’t take his horse with him for every conversation, he can show off that he owns one by equipping spurs. Since you’ll probably have this armor piece on you already, it’s an easy charisma boost if you remember to add them to your charisma preset.
1
Engraved Gemstone Ring And Leminger’s Spectacles
Accessories
The best way to finish your charisma preset is with accessories. While these extra pieces rarely weigh anything, they can be pretty rare to come across since they’re usually not stocked by vendors.
You can find plenty of high-charisma jewelry, but the Engraved Gemstone Ring is a safe option. Equipping glasses is also an easy choice since there is nothing else that can fill that slot, so you’ll pretty much always want to have Leminger’s Spectacles on, even if it’s not a charisma outfit.
